Falling for a Surfer

Fun Evening

     Kiley, Lilly and Sarah took off their dresses. They had their two piece swim suits on. Jon and Mark took their shirts off. They all walked over to the net.
Kiley said," Who's gonna serve?"
Mark said," I'll serve it."
Kiley threw the volleyball to him. Mark caught it.
He said," Ok you girls ready?"
They all nodded.
He said," Let's play!"
He served the ball. Kiley hit the ball over the net. Jon ran up and hit the ball. Sarah hit the ball, but it hit the net.
She said," Sorry."
Mark said," It's ok. Go ahead and serve this time."
Sarah grabbed the ball and served it. Jon hit the ball. Lilly hit the ball aiming it towards Mark. Mark hit the ball. Kiley tried hitting the ball but Lilly beat her to it. Mark hit it again.
He said," Are you doing this on purpose?"
Lilly said," What do you mean?"
Kiley said," It's obvious she's trying to beat you."
Sarah said," She's always competitive."
Mark said," Oh you like to play that way I can do that."
Lilly said," Bring it."
After an hour of playing. One by one they starting getting tired. Kiley laid down on her towel exhausted. Sarah joined her after a few minutes. After a few minutes Jon joined them.
Jon said," Oh god your friend is so competitive."
Kiley said," Oh we know."
Sarah said," Ugh they are still going at it."
Mark and Lilly kept playing volleyball.
Kiley said," How long until your done?!"
Lilly said," Until I win!"
Sarah laid down on the ground.
Thirty minutes past and Lilly and Mark were still playing volleyball.
More minutes past and for now what felt like an hour of them playing.
Jon said," Ugh aren't you guys done yet?"
Lilly said," No not till I win!"
Sarah said," Can we just go now? I'm tired of waiting to see who wins."
Kiley said," Yeah can I go with you guys too?
Jon said," Sure girls."
Jon, Sarah, and Kiley grabbed their stuff.
Sarah said," We're gonna go Lilly and Mark I guess see you tomorrow."
Mark said," Bye."
Lilly hit the ball a little more harder than she ever did. She screamed.
She said," I win! I win! I win! Woo hoo! I beat ya boyfriend."
Mark said," Well now you saw who won."
Kiley said," Sorry Mark maybe next time."
Kiley, Lilly, and Mark went back to the hotel.
Jon said," You wanna do a quick midnight swim then?"
Sarah said," Yeah that sounds nice."
They ran into the ocean.
He said," Water feel ok?"
She said," Nice and refreshing."
He said," I bet after playing that sport."
She said," Yeah."
She laid her head back and floated in the water. She swam over to Jon. He hugged her into his chest.
He said," You excited for tomorrow?"
She looked at his face.
She said," I'm most excited that you'll be my teacher."
He smiled. He touched her cheek.
He said," I am honored to be your teacher. Don't be afraid to tell me if there is a certain thing you need help with. I will spend as much time helping you with whatever it is because this is what you wanted and that's what you deserve."
She said," Oh Jon."
She touched his cheek and pulled him in for a kiss.
He said," I am here for you. I made a promise to protect you and I will keep that promise."
She said," Oh I know you will. I trust you."
He said," I trust you."
He kissed her.
They continued swimming and kissing in the water.
Jon said," One more thing before we get out of the water."
Sarah said," What?"
He held her hand under the water.
He said," This is why I like coming at night. The water is calm. But also seeing the stars in the night sky."
She rested her head on his shoulder while looking at the night sky.
She said," It's beautiful."
He said," As are you."
She blushed.
They went back to the hotel. They took a shower. Then put their night clothes on and went to bed.
