Falling for a Surfer

Surprises

Jon and Sarah walked on the pier. They looked at some of the shops and restaurants.
Sarah said," Jon what's the surprise?"
He said," You'll see in a minute."
He held her hand and took her to the surprise.
He said," Ok we're here."
She said," Where's here?"
He pointed at a building. She looked at the building.
She said," What kind of shop is this?"
He said," Gotta find you a wetsuit if you want to learn how to surf."
She said," Oh my god Jon. How am I gonna choose?"
He said," I guess that's the fun part you get to try on."
She ran in the store all excited. He grabbed a bag.
He said," I know your gonna find tones."
She started looking through all the wetsuits.
He said," Keep in mind. I'm paying for it."
She said," What? No."
He said," Yes my gift to you."
She started throwing a bunch of wetsuits in the bag. After a while of looking, she grabbed the bag and went to go try the wetsuits on.
He said," I'll buy you two or three."
She said," Jon you don't have to."
He said," I insist."
He kissed her forehead.
He said," Now go try on. I'll be sitting here waiting."
She said," What if I modeled them for you?"
He said," Oh go for it."
She giggled.
She started modeling for him all the different wetsuits.
She said," Just a few more Jon."
He said," Cool."
She said," Ok."
He looked up from his phone. She had a short blue wetsuit on with pink flowers all over it.
She said," Jon, what do you think?"
He said," Beautiful."
She said," I love it too."
He said," It's a keeper."
The next one, she tried on was short black with blue scales and blue, orange, and pink tropical leaves. She really liked it too.
     Once she was done trying on all the wetsuits, they went to go pay for the ones she really liked. Jon bought her both of the wetsuits. She tried to pay for at least one of them, but he kept telling her it was his gift to her. They walked out of the store.
He said," I knew you would at least find one."
She said," Yeah, I love them. Thank you so much."
He said," Your worth it."
They went back to the hotel. Sarah put on a light pink sparkly dress. Jon wore jean shorts and a gray shirt. He walked over to Sarah.
He said," You ready to go beautiful?"
She said," Yes."
She held his hand and they walked out to the beach.
Sarah said," Oh the weather feels so nice."
Jon said," It's always nice before dinner time."
     They walked next to the waves. The waves were nice and calm. Jon and Sarah went to a restaurant that was on the beach.
Jon said," I hope you don't mind. I invited a couple people."
Sarah said," Who?"
He said," You'll see."
They walked into the restaurant.
Kiley and Lilly said," Hi Sarah."
Sarah said," Oh my gosh. Hi girls."
Mark said," Hi Sarah."
Sarah said," Hi."
     Jon held Sarah close to him. They sat a table. Sarah sat next to Kiley and Jon. Lilly and Mark sat across from Sarah and Jon. They all ordered a virgin drink.
     They all shared a appetizer of calamari. Once they were done ordering their food, Jon left to go use the restroom.
Kiley said," So?"
Lilly said," So?"
Sarah said," What?"
Kiley said," Jon. That's what."
Lilly said," Did he take you surfing yet?"
Sarah smiled.
She said," He is tomorrow. He took me shopping for wetsuits today."
Lilly said," That's cool."
Kiley said," Did you say wetsuits as in more than one."
Sarah said," I took a picture on my phone of them."
She handed her phone to Kiley. Kiley looked at the pictures.
Kiley said," Oh beautiful."
Lilly looked at the pictures.
She said," Pretty. Did he pay for them or you?"
Sarah said," He did."
Jon sat next to Sarah.
He said," You ready to learn how to surf tomorrow?"
Sarah said," You bet."
     After dinner they ordered dessert. Sarah and Jon shared an ice cream sundae. Mark and Lilly shared a milkshake. Kiley had a scoop of ice cream.
Jon said," Would you like to go for a swim once we're done here?"
Sarah said," Oh that sounds nice."
Lilly said," Swim. Come play volleyball with us."
Sarah said," You know I suck at sports."
Lilly said," Come on it would be fun. What if I told you it was guys against girls?"
Kiley said," As long as Mark is playing we're gonna lose."
     Jon whispered in Sarah's ear. She listened to what he said. She whispered into his ear.
Kiley said," What you two whispering about?"
Sarah said," It's nothing. Um we'll go play with you guys."
Lilly said," Yay let's go!"
They all left the table and went back to the beach.
