•Lou's POV•
Tia's family are overjoyed to know that her and Violet are okay. Nicholas was mostly surprised when his kid began explaining what happened as I watch with Nolan.
"You should have seen the way I slid under the broken woods like a pro! Agent Lou might not showed up what he looked like, but he is incredible, father!"
"Agent Lou?"
"And not just that, I've met Arthur and became friends with him! Look, I even got his number to keep in touch! I just hope he and Abby are okay..." She added, making Silvia smirk and elbow her husband. "Seems like your daughter is as smooth as you..." she just earned a disbelief at the former agent, protectively.
Nolan and I just made a fist bump in victory before we return back to our kid's room, but we did not forget to avoid the Whiskers. "Lou, I still can't get over last night. You were awesome! And I'm awesome! Did you see the way I lit that dynamite?! And the way you looked so badass making those vehicles explode is epic! Good enough for any action movie trailers!" He keeps rambling about the crime escape last night as we return back to the room, seeing the others watching the news from yesterday.
"So, what'cha think about the news?" I asked that got some of their attention.
"Well... One former agent slash criminal named Agent Gab Clarko Jr., escaped with 1/4 of his men, but the rest are behind bars this instant..." Fiona explained as she went to my direction.
"If that's the case, he might go after Cynthia again..."
"No. This time, it seems different to me. I've read read about a few sly criminals on my book and it seems like they are after something else. I mean, why do they need Agent Nicholas anyway? It cannot just be about that 'discount' or 'mayor's favorite' reasons now, is it?" Iris added before I hummed and thought about it.
From the time we returned back in the house, the toys went wild about the story on our escaped. Most of them thanked me, but I gave Nolan the credit since I wanna get out and fix my watch. It broke from my fall from the bus window one time.
"According to the children, they wanted to thank this anonymous person, the 'LOU', for helping them escape. On the hand, besides the appreciation, the criminals coincidentally had the same encounter beside that it's bad luck. The mysterious person has been helping the police officers make their jobs easier just by seeing some of the miracles happening around Hollywood by giving a hand around the kids and misfortune to the mischiefs. Some of the kidnappers mentioned that he is working for the CSS Unit, but the government corrected that there was no Lou hiding from the secret life organization. Are they being denial to cover him or are they telling the truth? Could this Lou be the hero behind the shadows? What is his main goal? Why is he here in California? Well, who knows, but for now... I am Nadia Plaire from Spotlight Section, stay tuned..."
"Woah. Nicholas IS popular if someone from the family gets to be mentioned on TV!" Exclaimed by the fairy dolls.
"Hey Lou, it's not like I wanted to offend you or anything, but did you save Tia just to be notice in public?" Riam asked nervously that made me form a frown and turned my body towards him.
No... That's not it...
"He has to go..." someone familiar mentioned from the back, spoke, but I didn't bother to face them.
"Lyra?"
"You don't think we're gonna miss your little appreciation party now, did you?" I just gripped on my satchel and still refused to glance at their direction. "Sure you save 'your kid' and the rest of the children, but we both know, you only saved her just so you could get away with all the things you did back to the institute. Once everybody started thinking about you being a wonderful role model, they won't ask you about us and Perfection anymore, right? Nice plan, although, we won't let you get away and you know that..."
