The next morning dark clouds filled the sky and winds whipped the branches of trees into a frenzy. It was expected that a storm was going to hit the village soon, and a strong one.

Even though the winds were strong enough to uproot trees, Elvira was not ready to postpone her journey or wait for the storm to pass.

According to her, she should carry out her journey if she is determined; but actually she was being impulsive. It was surely not a good idea to carry out a journey in such a bad weather.

Rain set in and it seemed that it would continue for the rest of the day. Elvira had already packed the few of her belongings that she had carried with her.

Full of determination, she set her foot out of the cottage, only to come back in, completely drenched by the rain.

She changed her clothes and set up a fire in the fireplace. She sat by the fire, warming up her body, reconsidering her decision.

By this time, the wind was rattling the windows of the cottage. Sound of the roaring wind reached Elvira's ears and she realised that there was nothing to reconsider, she should postpone her journey until the storm passes, which would not be anytime soon. It was funny that she needed a first hand experience of the storm outside to finally make the decision.

While she was sitting comfortably by the fire, a sudden knock on the door of the cottage took her by surprise.

"Who would it be?" She murmered as she walked to the door to open it. As she opened the door, she could not believe what she saw. It was Arson, completely drenced by rain. Elvira quickly pulled him inside, only to bombard him with questions.

Arson waited for her to finish asking questions. It was funny for him to watch the worried expressions on her face because the other day she was disappointed, stubborn and acted like she didn't care about him at all. But her expressions giveaway the truth, she did care about him, alot.

As for Arson, he just answered, "I love you too". Elvira was red in the face, "Where did that come from?" She asked.

Arson held her hands and repeated his words "I love you too". Elvira had no clue of what happened to him or what was he even thinking. She was just staring at his face, which was brimming with joy.

Arson could understand from the look on her face that she was confused by his actions.
"It's pointless to hide your emotions now, I know you love me and you care about me". He said. Now, Elvira got the point of what he is talking about.

She smiled and said "Well you surely know a lot, Mr. know all".
"I surely do" replied Arson.

Elvira stared at Arson, she was expecting answers. Arson explained to her that he was worried for her because knowing her, she may have left the village in such a bad weather. Elvira thought to herself that what Arson had expected was true, if it weren't for the storm, she would have left today.

They had a moment of silence between them, Arson grew serious and then asked her if her decision was still the same.
"Yes". Elvira replied firmly.

Arson remained quiet for some time then requested her to stay there a little longer. Elvira, at first was not ready to delay her mission but then Arson told her that he needs some time to think about his life because ever since they have known each other, she has a special place in his life. He can't just let go of her, especially after knowing that she is putting herself in danger. He wanted to help her but the situation makes him think twice.

Their point of views on this situation differed from each other, one was onto revenge while the other thought revenge will do no good. Even though Elvira was reluctant, she promised him that she will stay for two more days. She knew that Arson was right, she felt the same way, afterall she loved Arson as much as he loved her.
