Jimin was working his morning shift as usual. It has been about two weeks and he has settled in, he would say. There were still some things that he has to figure out though. Like should he talk to Jin about changing the god-awful pink color of the cafe's walls?

Also being on his feet for almost the whole day sucked too. By the time he reaches home after his shift everyday, his heels and ankles are throbbing.

Jimin was a people person and very sociable. He enjoys good company. But fake smiling when he was extremely exhausted or at rude customers was really getting to him.

Adulting is all about how well you can act, I guess.

But there was a silver lining to his days. The arrival of the Kim brothers. Every morning at 10:30am sharp. That was literally the only reason why he dragged himself out of bed every morning.

He did share acquaintance with Namjoon, who was always sweet to him and tipped him generously. It was Taehyung that was the problem. Not problem per se, he was a point of discussion. Not even discussion because frankly they haven't exchanged a single word. Not even a 'Hello' or a fake smile. That sometimes gets to Jimin. Why can't they say hello to each other?

For someone like Jimin, who is always full of vim and vigor, the situation is painfully slow and needs a lot of patience. Sometimes he feels he is spreading himself too thin. But something within him demanded to go on and not lose hope. This stubborn motivation surprises him too.

It was 10.30am. The overhead doorbell chimed. In walk the two brothers. Taehyung makes his way to his usual spot, but Namjoon hurries to the counter.

"Jimin"

"Hi Hyung. Are you okay? You look a little distressed. What's goin on?"

"I wanted a favor from you. I know we have only known each other for two weeks now and this might be a lot, but you're my only hope", he sounded desperate and it broke Jimin's heart.

"Of course Hyung. I know we haven't known each other for long, but I feel like we have. Don't worry. You can ask me anything! I will help you the best way I can!", Jimin extended his arm and placed it on Namjoon's shoulder, rubbing it gently.

Namjoon visibly relaxed, but the concern never left his face. He drew a deep breath in, looked over his shoulder at Taehyung and turned back to face Jimin.

"Can you look after Taehyung?", he blurted out.

"Wait what?"

"I know. I know. But you guys have this spark or connection, I don't know what to name or how to explain it. The way he responds to you, he doesn't do it for anyone."

Jimin just stood frozen, gaze fixed behind Namjoon at the curly haired boy with a headphone, looking out the window.

"But what if he doesn't like my presence? I don't want to make him uncomfortable."

"I asked him this morning. He said it's okay."

"Wait what now? He said it's okay? Taehyung said it's okay?", Jimin asked bewildered. The thought of Taehyung agreeing to be with him sounded straight out of a fictional book.

"Usually he stays at home when I am working, which is not a problem. But the problem is we cannot miss coming here, It's his indispensable habit. He just has to be here at 10:30am every morning. That's why we came. I don't usually allow him to travel alone. If you could just take him home, that would be amazing. If you want to hang with him for a while, that would be fine too. It's totally up to you."

Jimin had never been given the responsibility of looking after another human being. He cannot even take care of himself. But somehow seeing Namjoon, who is the epitome of responsibility asking his help, he felt as if, finally he has grown up. Not when he moved to a new city, not when he took up this job, but right now.
