Chapter 6: I am the EGGMAN( part 1)

"EGGMAN?! What are you doing here?!" asked Sonic as he walked up to the rotund scientist. :Oh hello Sonic, long time no see!" said Eggman as he began laughing. "What do ya want Egghead?" asked Sonic as he began tapping his foot. "Look I don't got much time, I need to get to Twitter to save Shadow and delete a post, and I only have about 9 hours to get there ok?"

"Sonic, I wasn't even going to do anything against you this time..." said Eggman with a deadpan expression on his face. This baffled Sonic. How could his arch nemesis not even have a plan ready for when he would see him. That just sounded very dumb. "Wait...really?" asked Sonic.

"YES YOU BLUE IDIOT" shouted Eggman as he punched his Eggmobile with his fists. "Sonic you see, I was sent here by your friends of all people, they were starting to get real worried about you, me personally, I would have just left you stuck here. Anyways, Tails apparently had a few more of these prototypes with him, he decided to sent me first to try and get you and Shadow, and in about an hour he, Knuckles, and Amy will be arriving here" said Eggman as he ran out of breath due to the long exposition.

"Wait, how did the others know Shadow and I were here?" asked Sonic with a dumbfounded expression on his face. Suddenly, Sonic got a FaceTime call on his phone. It was Tails. Sonic knew what was coming towards him. He lay out a sigh as he answered the FaceTime call. First thing Sonic saw was Tails' face as his friends were behind him, all staring angrily towards Sonic.

"Heyyyy guys.." said Sonic as he tried to break the awkward mood. "SONIC WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING?!" shouted Amy as she looked at Sonic through the phone. "Dude, we've been waiting here for 15 freaking hours..." said Silver as he raised his cup of apple juice in anger. "Guys don't worry I'm fine.." said Sonic as he waved his hands towards his friends. "Big Blue, this isn't funny, we're being serious, what are you doing on the internet and why??" asked Rouge as she looked at Sonic with a fearsome glare.

Sonic started stuttering, trying to come up with an excuse. Unlike his attitude and cockiness, Sonic has been very shy in terms of saying what's on his mind, like sad thoughts or crushes on people. Sonic had to tell his friends, this was the chance to apologize for everything he has done. 

"Guys, I am here inside of the internet because I am trying to get to Twitter to delete a post Tails made. That post said a few critiques about my new game "Sonic Frontiers". At the time, I acted like an ignorant asshole and shouted at Tails in anger just for giving his honest opinion. I got here and Shadow also got here at the time time, due to using Chaos control at the same time I used the crystals to get here. While here, Shadow snapped some sense into me, and I realize....I have been a dick to you all" said Sonic as he began tearing up.

"Knuckles, I am sorry for making fun of your short temper and teasing you about not having the brightest mind. Amy, I apologize for ignoring everything you have said to me, romantic or not, also about putting my hand over your face at one of my birthday parties, I am regretful of being that ignorant. To the rest of you, I am sorry for being ignorant to all of you, denying your feelings and taking advantage of your skills in wrong ways. Most of all, Tails I am sorry for not being a good best friend. I am sorry for always leaving you behind when I go on adventures, at times even calling you a nerd. I should have acted better Tails, you're like the little brother I never had"  said Sonic as he cried his eyes out.

Sonic's friends looked at Sonic with a look of remorse. they hadn't known that their friend was having the internal conflict that entire time. Tails took a deep breath and decided to be the first to speak up. "Sonic, honestly I should be the one apologizing, that Tweet I made had so much malice in it, you had full right to go to Twitter and try to delete it" said Tails as he comforted Sonic. "Don't worry Sonic, I completely understand you trying to run away from me, I had also been a little bit too eager towards my feelings for you" said Amy as she looked at Sonic with soothing eyes.

Sonic looked at his friends and let out a smile. "So can you guys forgive me so we can start anew??" asked Sonic as he smirked. "YES!" shouted all his friends as they smiled towards the blue speedster. "Thanks guys, for always being there for me.." said Sonic as he gave a thumbs up. Sonic hung up the call and looked at Eggman. The scientist was shedding tears from his eyes.

"Oh that was so beautiful, almost enough to make a grown man cry..." said Eggman as he was tearing up. "Hey I see someone is getting emotional", said Sonic as he teased Eggman. "W- WHAT?! I'M NOT CRYING!" said Eggman as he forced his tears to go back inside his eyes. "Anyways Eggman, how are we going to get to Twitter?" asked Sonic as he put a finger on my chin.

"That was what I was going to get to! Listen Sonic, I ran into two certain people that can help us get there, let me call them with my Cyberspace Travel Face Communicator!!" shouted Eggman as he took out a holographic divide from his Eggmobile. "Who are these people specifically?" asked Sonic curiously. "HOHOHOHO these two claim to be some sort of devil or demon killers, I guess, they both have big swords and one of them has eyes that look like a bug!" said Eggman as he got excited.

"These two have been into Twitter HQ before, so they could lead us the way to get there to rescue Shadow and delete that Tweet of yours!!" said Eggman as he began laughing. "Demon hunters?? Wait a second..." said Sonic as he was interrupted by the holographic form appearing in front of him and Eggman.

"OHOHOHO, hello Mr Kamado!!" said Eggman as he laughed. "Hi Mr Robotnik" said Tanjiro Kamado as he looked towards the fat scientist. "I see that you just told Shinobu-san and I that you are currently located in front of the Kpop app, is that correct?" asked Tanjiro as he smiled. "Yes that is correct" said Eggman. Sonic stared in shock as he recognized those two holographic faces.

"Weren't they some of the anime characters that were taken captive by Elon Musk's army? I am so confused" thought Sonic as he stared at the sight of Tanjiro and Shinobu talking to Eggman.
