an early Christmas gift pt 3

*Eddie's Pov*
I woke up to the alarm I had set for us to nap and found her arms wrapped around my waist with her head resting on my stomach. I started rubbing her head gently to wake her up although I honestly wanted to stare at her like this for forever.

Eddie: y/n, we gotta wake up now, it's almost time for us to meet up with our friends for dinner.

She mumbled something against my stomach which made me laugh a bit.

Eddie: I don't know what you said, but we really do need to get up...

Y/n: wake me up when it's Christmas
I took this opportunity to tease her.

Eddie: so I'm not worth waking up for, but Christmas is?

She picked her head up and gave me a frown.

Y/n: you know that's not what I meant.

Eddie: I know it's just fun to tease you, plus Christmas is only in three days so you'd really wanna lay here for three days? I think we'd both start to smell a bit after day 2.

She mumbled something else before crawling up next to me and snuggling into my side. She was so warm and I almost gave in to napping a little longer.

Eddie: nice try, but we need to get ready to meet them.

Y/n: fine, but you're showering with me.

Eddie: I won't say no to that darling.

I kissed her head and the two of us walked into her bathroom to shower. I took off my shirt and soon remembered what I'd done earlier today by the slight soreness of my chest. Y/n must've heard me grunt because she looked at me confused. She stared at me for a second before realizing what I'd done.

Y/n: Edward Munson what is that on your chest?

She sounded a little stern so I answered cautiously.
Eddie: a new tattoo, do you like it?

Y/n: it's my name, you got a tattoo of my name?

There was now some calmness in her voice, which made me relax a bit.
Eddie: yep right on my heart love.

Y/n: is this what you had to do today?

Eddie: yep! Merry Christmas my darling, I hope you like your early Christmas gift.

Y/n: I just can't belie.... You know that stuffs permanent right?
There was a little shock in her voice, but I laughed it off.

Eddie: that's why I got it, you are now permanently in my life y/n, there's no way out. We're together forever.

Y/n: well at least other girls will know you're mine.
She reached on her toes to kiss me and I kissed back. It was one of the sweetest ones we've shared. And if I'm being honest I got some butterflies. After a minute we broke free and my forehead rested on hers as I whispered

Eddie: you know you'd look hot with a tattoo.

Y/n: yeah ok, my mom finds that on me I'm dead for real.

Eddie: I won't let her lay a finger on you.

Y/n: yeah good luck with that, she'd kill you too.

Eddie: never doubt how much I'd fight for you, love.
I kissed her once more on her head before guiding her into the shower and we got ready to meet up with our friends.

As we arrived at the diner with our friends, y/n became really clingy all of the sudden I actually didn't think much of it until something seemed really wrong. It almost looked like she'd been fading in and out of a trance state, God I hope she wasn't having an episode, it'd been two months since she's had one but it doesn't mean it's gone. I started to panic but y/n woke me up from my worries.
