Party problems

It was a few days till  Halloween. Eddie was maintaining a B-/ B+ average in his classes, and pushing himself to make you proud. Steve and you still weren't on the same terms as before, in fact if anything you guys have been more distant than before. But you didn't really mind. Robin and Nancy had become your two best friends, in lieu of not seeing Steve so often..It was the day before Halloween and Steve invited everyone to a Halloween party at his house.

Robin: C'MON Y/N YOU HAVE TO GO IT WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU

y/n: sorry Robin, but Eddie doesn't really do "parties", and I don't want to go without him. Plus he has this huge Dnd campaign that night anyway.

Nancy: soo you'd rather sit in my basement with out stupid little brothers, your boyfriend, and their friends playing a fantasy game?

Y/n: Look I just don't feel comfortable going without Eddie. What if Steve tries to pull something again?

Robin: we'll be by your side the whole time y/n!

Nancy: yeah, and trust me , there will be so many other girls there that Steve won't even be thinking of you.

Y/n: ok fine I'll go

Nancy and Robin both cheered.

Y/n: let me just call Eddie really quick

After what felt like an hour you got off the phone with Eddie. He reacted cautiously and made sure that you felt comfortable. He was so sweet. You assured him you'd be fine and that Robin and Nancy convinced you enough to say that you'd even be willing to go. And told him that they promised to be by your side the whole time.

Nancy: that was a long call

Y/n: yeah well you thought it was difficult convincing me, I had a hard time convincing Eddie I'd be safe.

Nancy: You guys are so cute

Robin: You guys wanna do a group costume??

Y/n: sure that sounds so fun!!

Nancy: Nothing crazy tho, it's a party so we'd wanna stay as comfortable as possible.

Y/n: what if we did Peter Pan, Captin Hook, and Tinker bell?

Robin: I CALL PETER PAN!

You and Nancy laugh

Y/n: I'll be Captin Hook then

Nancy: so I guess I'm tinker bell! Awesome.

The three of you spend the rest of the day planning out your costumes.

*Eddie's Pov*
Y/n called me saying she's going to Harrington's party and I almost had to do a double take.

Eddie: are you sure you want to go Love?

Y/n: yeah I'll be fine, I'm going with  Robin and Nancy and they promised to stick by me.

Eddie: Well I'm not gonna stop you from going but if ANYTHING happens. AND I MEAN IF HARRINGTON EVEN LOOKS AT YOU THE WRONG WAY. Call the Wheelers house and I'll be there. And if I can't, get yourself out of there and wait for me ok darling

Y/n: anything for you Munson, I gotta go. I Love you

Eddie: you have no idea how much I love you.

I hung up the phone and sighed. Maybe I should cancel the campaign and go to the party with her. No, I trust her she'll be fine. Robin and Nancy will be there right? And Nancy had some long-distance boyfriend so she'll stick with y/n at least. I can't say the same for Robin, but she doesn't seem like the kinda person to hook up with someone at a party. So yeah y/n will be fine.
