back to normal?

About a month had passed since the incident with Steve. You guys were still friends but you always made sure that Robin, Eddie, or Nancy was there when he was around you, just in case. You and Eddie had gone on a few more dates and you were definitely falling for him. His smile, his voice, his scent, they were like drugs to you. And you could tell he felt the same. The two of you couldn't stay away from each other. He'd already had dinner at your house to formally meet your mom she didn't approve. Of course. Even though he'd met her before with Dustin. You also met Eddie's uncle, he was a bit shocked you even existed. It was just another school day, and you were woken by your alarm. The two of you don't even take separate cars anymore, and it was Eddie's day to pick you up.

Dustin: Y/N!!! EDDIES GONNA BE HERE ANY MINUTE!!

Y/n: ALMOST READY!

You threw on Eddie's flannel and it smelled just like him.

Dustin: HES HERE
You run out the door with a piece of toast in your mouth as you grab your school bag. You see Eddie in his van with the windows down blasting Greta Van Fleet 'highway tune'. You get in the van as he takes your bag for you and gives you a kiss on your head. He's about to put the car into drive but you stop him, you take the toast out of your mouth and kiss him and he kisses back.

Eddie: well good morning to you too. Nice Flannel by the way.

You smile, and was about to flirt back but you got interupted

Dustin:GUYS REALLY? IM LITERALLY SITTING RIGHT HERE! YOU DO THIS EVERY MORNING!

You and Eddie laugh
Y/n: We'd better get going if we're gonna make it before the bell Munson

Eddie: I love it when you call me that

Dustin: seriously we have 10 minutes!!

Eddie puts the van into drive and you guys drive off to school. He put his hand on your thigh. And you smiled at him.

As you pulled up to school someone was waiting for you in your usual spot. It was Jason. Eddie gave him a look and he moved. But he came right up to.your window.

Jason: haven't you guys been a thing for almost two months? I thought you'dve showed him how to fly your broom by now Henderson...

Y/n: shut it Jason

Jason: no see I don't think I will, because it's people like you that make this town unsafe

Eddie: she hasn't done anything wrong shit head, so move along

Jason: oh I almost forgot about you Freak. Have you forced her into your little cult yet?

Y/n: it's a boardgame club jackass

Jason: yeah whatever

He backed away and the bell rang.

Dustin: we'd better get to class guys.

You both nodded your head and the three of you walked to the school building. You and Eddie held hands until having to go to separate class rooms. The next time you'd see each other would be lunch with was 5th period. The morning went by pretty fast. You had a quiz in us history, and a test in calc. They werent too bad, but you definitely didn't get a perfect score on either of them. The 5th period bell rang meaning it was time to see Eddie!

You went to your locker to put a few things away when suddenly you hear your name being called. You turn around to see Eddie running down the hall with papers in his hand.

Eddie: y/n!! Y/n!!

He came up to you looking very excited, he kissed you quickly on the lips. And was smiling from ear to ear. You giggled
