The shopping day

Your time off from school with Chrissy was actually fun! You didn't expect to enjoy her company so much but after the three weeks you had off together she was one of your best friends. Robin and Nancy would hang out with you guys when they were done school and the four of you clicked really well. Eddie practically lived in your house, with your mom gone he made it "his duty" to protect you and Dustin. He was so sweet. Your blisters had pretty much gone away and you were able to do more around the house but Eddie still treated you like his queen, much to your protest. You and Chrissy mostly stayed in, trying to avoid anyone on the street asking questions and making a scene in the movie theater. Steve would drop off 4 movies every morning for the two of you to rate and he'd use your ratings in the store. You showed Chrissy bands like Greta Van Fleet and Van Halen and much to your surprise she loved them. She ended up showing you the Go Go's and Kate Bush. And they weren't your favorite but they were interesting to listen to. Nancy would give you guys a bunch of stuff from the newspaper club to edit and write. Long story short you were never bored. Robin would even bring you guys snacks. Eddie was practically your chauffeur he'd drive you to Chrissy's in the morning and pick you up afterwards. Your doctor still didn't want you to drive in case of vertigo from how hard Jason hit you. No symptoms had shown up yet but it was just a precaution. You and Chrissy had to go back to school for the next week and then it was Christmas break. Friday was the "Winter's Ball" and Eddie hadn't said much about it. Quite honestly you weren't even sure if you wanted to go. Chrissy said she wasn't going to go, and you thought you might hang out with her that night to keep her company.

Chrissy: what? no! You should go! Make memories with Eddie and Nance and Robin. Don't worry about me.

Y/n: just tell me why you won't go and maybe I'll leave you alone

Robin: well I wouldn't be going if it wasn't for SOMEONE

Nancy: Robin you're going to have fun ok? And maybe Vikki will be there

Robin: ughhh right because the best place to come out to the girl I like is in front of the entire school? Are you trying to make me an outcast Nance?

Y/n: You could always go with Steve?

Robin fake puked and gagged

Robin: absolutely not

Nancy: c'mon ask him to go as your friend so that you could ask Vikki to dance and if she says no you just go " oh I meant as friends, I'm actually here with Steve"

Robin: that's a great plan except I really don't think I can say that without puking

Chrissy: Robin you should go! Go get Vikki!

Y/n: if we can get her to go you know your coming right?

Chrissy: look, right now I get stares in the hallway, and I can deal with that, but a huge social event like this? Everyone is gonna ask me questions and I don't want to put myself in that situation.

Robin: so it's agreed, neither of us are going !

Y/n: not so fast you two. Robin you are going whether you like it or not. And Chrissy you're going to be with us the whole time anyway. You won't have to answer to anyone you don't want to and Eddie will be there Incase anyone tries to start something ok?

Chrissy: yeah but you and Eddie are gonna wanna do couple stuff, I don't wanna get in the middle of that. I mean maybe if I had a date.....

Robin spit out her soda

Robin: I volunteer Steve!

Nancy: youre ready to date already? I mean good for you but..

Chrissy cut her off
