You spent the night squirming in Eddie's arms trying to sleep. When you did sleep it was only for a short amount of time before you woke up again. Eddie didn't sleep well either. Anytime you tried to move or you woke up he'd wake up and make sure you were ok. At one point he just laid on top of you to make sure you knew you were safe. When you couldn't sleep you played with his hair as he gripped tighter to your waist and snored on your belly. Though you caught him snoring a few times, it was safe to say that the two of you got little to no sleep. Morning came and interrupted the two of you snuggling. You were already awake, but didn't want to get out of bed, although the longer you stayed in bed the longer you were alone with your thoughts, and that wasn't a good plan. You started to rub the top of Eddie's head and play with his hair to gently wake him up.

Y/n: Eddie, we gotta get up.

Eddie: five more minutes won't kill you, you know?

Y/n: fine five more minutes

This time you actually fell asleep and woke up to banging on your bedroom door.

Steve: y/n?? Let's go, are you ready for the mall?

Steve didn't wait for an answer and barged into your room. He saw Eddie laying on top of you and must've noticed he was shirtless because he looked away from the two of you and talked to you while staring at the wall.

Steve: guys it's 11:30. Why are you still in bed.

Eddie: well neither of us got much sleep last night Harington, infact y/n just got a few hours of sleep in thanks to us sleeping in.
He was basically talking into your belly but Steve definitely heard what he'd said.

Steve: gross, guys

Y/n: not like that STEVE, neither of us really could fall asleep just from pent up anxiety. So WHY don't you get out and I'll get dressed and meet you downstairs in 10.

Steve: yeah sounds good
Steve closed the door and Eddie looked up at you.

Eddie: did you at least get some sleep my love?

Y/n: some... not a lot but some. Did you?

Eddie: anytime you woke up I was up.

Y/n: that's not true I caught you snoring everyonce in a while.

Eddie: ok maybe I got a little more sleep then you did, but we're both taking it easy today right? Youre going to the mall in a few minutes, and then hang out with me until it's time to go to Nancy's for your girls night.

Y/n: sounds like a plan to me.
You slowly crawled out of bed, but then Eddie grabbed your waist and pulled you back in for a minute. He squeezed you tight and held you close to him

Y/n: Eddie! What are you doing?

Eddie:  just loving you, is that a problem

Y/n: no, I love the feeling of it.
You looked up and kissed him quick before saying
Y/n: but now I really need to put some clothes on before Steve comes back up.

Eddie: ok fair
He let go of his grip on you as you kissed him on the cheek and then got out of bed and started getting ready.
You picked up a pair of your black jeans and threw on a flannel over Eddie's t-shirt which you'd already been wearing. Eddie slipped on his clothes from yesterday and walked down stairs with you.

Steve: Jesus Christ what takes you guys so long? It's 12pm now.

Y/n: quit complaining, I only need to go to the mall for like 15 minutes, you'll be able to get back in time to watch Seinfeld.

Dustin: I'd argue with her, but she's right.

Y/n: where's Mike?

Steve: apparently he caught a cold or something idk, he's not coming though so it'll just be the three of us.
