— Robins POV —

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

" Wha- oh " I say rubbing my eyes.

" Fuck " I moan. " My head hurts like hell " I try to clear my thoughts before I hear someone bust through my door. I sit up to find Nancy Wheeler standing in my doorway.

" Nance what are you doing here- wait.. How the hell did you get my address? " I question, my voice is raspier than normal because I had just woken up.

Nancy blushes at Robins voice. " Oh- uh.. Steve gave it to me, and I wanted to check on you to see if you were okay. " She says.

" Okay?? Why wouldn't I be okay? " I say kind of scared.

" Well you were crazy drunk last night, and I know hangovers suck, so here I am. " Nancy said with and awkward smile. I gesture for her to come sit on the bed, and she does so.

" Oh yeah, well I'm good other than the fact that my head hurts like hell. " I said.

" Also... Um I was hoping that I could stay the night. If I remember it right, you did say that we could " hang out or whatever " a couple weeks ago. " Nancy said smiling.

" Oh! Yeah of course. As long as our moms are okay with it. " I say as a smile crept to my lips.

" I've asked both of our mothers already and they're completely fine with it! " Nancy exclaimed.

" That's great! But I have to take a shower so uh you're gonna have to wait a little bit. " I say awkwardly smiling.

Nancy giggled which made me blush a little bit. " It's fine Rob I can wait " Nancy said smiling.

Rob? ROB?!!?? At this point my face was bright red.

" Oh- uhm- okay i'll uh- go get- I mean... Bye. " I stammered getting up and getting a towel.

— After Robins shower (also in third person)—

Robin was walking out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on.

" ROBIN " Nancy yelled not looking away from the collection of rocks and flowers that she held in her hands that she got from a dresser of Robins. Once she did look up she saw Robin rushing to pick her towel up from the ground. When Nancy had yelled Robins name is had startled her and she had accidentally dropped her towel.

" Fuck " Robin muttered to themself but it was loud enough that Nancy heard it. " I'm so so sooo sorry Nance .. " Robin said awkward smiling, blush spreading across her cheeks.

" Uhm... It's okay, I didn't really see anything anyway " Nancy said as she chuckled awkwardly.

After Robin had actually gotten their clothes on, the both sat on the bed still trying to process what had happened.

" Robin..? " Nancy said.

" Yeah ? " Robin asked.

" Have you uh.. Ever like , ya'know.. Had a crush? " Nancy questioned.

Robin was trying to force her brain to not slip up and say some stupid shit, but they may have been pushing their brain to hard because the next thing they had said was-

" Well just a few here and there. My first one was Tammy Thompso- " Robins eyes widened at what she realized she had just said.

" What? " Nancy said shocked. Her eyes were widened as she realized what Robin said.

" Nance I- " Robin started but then got cut off by Nancy.

" It's fine. " She said. " But really, Tammy Thompson? She sings like a muppet " Nancy said laughing. Robin laughed with her.

" The irony is that, that's exactly what Steve said " Robin said as her laughter calmed down.

" Steve knows? " Nancy questioned, shocked.

" Yeah, he's the first person I told. " Robin said slightly laughing. That's when the both heard the sound of rain. They realized it was raining.

Nancy then thought of something completely random. " Can we go walking ? " Nancy asked. " But it's raining- " Robin said but then got cut off by Nancy grabbing her hand and saying " That's the point ! " Nancy said as they headed downstairs to the front door.

" Nance are you sure? We could get sick. " Robin said.

" True.... But, I highly doubt we will. " Nancy said opening the door and stepping out onto the porch.

" Actually.. " She said looking down and smiling. " Could we dance ? " she said still smiling, but looking up at Robin.

Robin felt her face heat up.

" With no music ? " Robin said playfully as she smiled.

Nancy rolled her eyes and dragged Robin into the driveway and started dancing.

There they were. Dancing in the rain.

" This is more fun than I thought it would be " Robin says smiling.

" See? You shouldn't be judging things based off of if you can get wet doing it. " Nancy said as she winked.

" NANCE " Robin exclaimed as she started laughing.

" WHAT? It wasn't supposed to be dirty but if you interpret it that way " She shrugged " Then you do you I guess " She said as she laughed.

They were staring at eachother as they danced, taking in eachothers beautiful features. That's when it happened. They both had leaned in, to kiss. They were inches away from eachother, but thunder had interrupted them. Both startled, they had agreed to go back inside.

a/n: i kinda got carried away... i bet u thought they were finna kiss 😹. nah ur gonna have to wait a little bit longer.. not long, but i'm not giving any spoilers what so ever. this chapter is the longest one so far, tell me how we feeling about long chapters?? also, votes will be appreciated:).
