16. Late Nights

We got to the hotel and got to our room where Corey and Jake flopped down on their bed. "Dude ima be out in minutes. Don't make any noises."

Corey was dead serious, he is crabby when he's tired. "What are we suppose to do if we aren't tired?" Sam said. "I don't care just don't talk, or be loud."
I laughed, "you can chill in my room if you want, after that nap I'm not really tired yet" I said. Sam's eyes lit up.

"Really? We can watch a movie or find some dumb tv shows they always have on the TVs" he said. I nodded. "What about me?" Colby said with a pouty face, acting hurt like he wasn't invited. I laughed. "You can come too, that bed is big enough for all of us." He smiled and bent down to grab his phone charger.

"Okay guys well have fun with the orgy but PLEASE LEAVE" Corey screamed. We all looked at each other and quickly made our way to my room, shutting off the light behind us. Colby left to go get snacks from the vending machine, and Sam and I looked for something to watch. We decided on Wipout. "This is like that movie set we snuck into once" same said, "they even had that log thing."

Colby knocked on the door and i jumped off the bed to open it. Colby had his hands full, with stuff stuck under his chin. "Jesus, did you buy everything out?" I asked as we walked over and dropped it all on the bed.

There were two bags of popcorn, a kit Kat, a Twix, some m&ms, Reese's, a Dr Pepper, and two cokes. "Hey I wanted to make sure I got something for everyone" Colby said as he grabbed one of the popcorn bags and stuck it in the microwave. "We're watching wipout" I said as I sat back on the bed. "Nice" Colby said.

Once the popcorn was made he grabbed a tray from the counter and brought everything over. I scooter over next to Sam so he could come sit next to me, and we turned up the tv.
We watched two episodes, and all the snacks were gone. About halfway through the third episode Sam yawned.

"I think this is my last one guys" he said. "Loser" Colby said he laughed at him. When it was over Sam got up.

"Well don't stay up too late guys, we have a big day tomorrow" he said.

"Peace man" Colby said, and I waved and he walked out of the room. That left me and Colby.. I looked over to where Sam had been sitting and there were popcorn crumbs everywhere.

"Dang that kid's messy" I said as I leaned over and brushed off the blanket. "He's actually gotten way better if you can believe that" Colby said. I laughed and shook my head.

"I don't know about you but I'm getting bored of this" I said as I grabbed the remote. "Yeah Id probably fall asleep if we keep watching this" Colby said.

I found family feud which I haven't seen in a while and colby agreed on it. I got up and went to the bathroom, and I came back to see Colby sitting more towards the middle of the bed looking at something on his phone. He looked up at me and grabbed the remote to turn it up some more. I climbed into the bed, not even thinking twice as I propped some pillows up against the headboard, sitting right up against Colby.

Our shoulders were touching and I felt a warmth shoot through my body. We hadn't kissed or anything in like a week, so being close to him reminded me of when we were first getting close to each other. Especially being around all his friends all day, it reminded me of that day in the presidential suite.

We watched the show for a while, trying to guess the right answers before the people could answer them. We were having a good time, laughing and giving dumb answers just for fun. Sometime during the episode we were having a giggling fit.

I leaned over Colby and laid my hand on his leg trying to control my laughter. "Did she just say lion instead of loin??" I was cracking up. "She literally spelled l-I-o-n" Colby said, "did you see Steve's face?" I nodded and I wiped a tear from my eye.
