I woke up sleepily and turned over in bed to see Colby turned over asleep and I smiled to myself. I then looked outside to see the sun shining bright and I quickly grabbed my phone to see it was 8:30. Crap, our flight left in two hours. I turned over and shoved Colby.

"Colby get up its after 8, we need to get ready and go, like now." I half yelled it, and hearing the panic in my voice Colby shot up and rubbed his eyes.

"Fuck" he mumbled.
This wasn't the right time for it, but his hoarse, raspy morning tone sent a chill own my spine.
"You should go wake the boys up and pack, I'm gonna get ready" I said as I jumped off the bed. I heard him get up as I raced to the bathroom to fix my hair and face. There was no time to shower, or do anything really. We should have been at the airport already and it's like a 45 minute drive there.

A couple minutes later I heard the boys scrambling and yelling amongst themselves, and we were out of the hotel in less than fifteen minutes. We all made sure we had everything and made it way to our rental. Crap, we still had to turn that in.

Colby sped down the highway, and we didn't even have time to stop for food but I was starving. All the boys were complaining too.

"So like, did none of us remember to set an alarm?" Jake asked. We all kind of laughed because it was true, I don't know what we were thinking.

We made it to the airport with about a half hour to spare before we had to board, and by the time we got through security we had about 15 minutes. Me, Sam and Corey went to Starbucks to get some coffee and a sandwich and Colby and Jake went to the Mc Donald's that was in there.

I ordered a ham and egg bagel and a large iced salted Carmel macchiato. I waited for the boys at a table and Corey was the first to sit next to me. He had a different sandwich in his hand and some sort of frappe.

"Don't look at the white girl drink In my hand, I'm bringing to Devyn.." he said as his eyes drifted off to the distance and he slowly took a sip from the straw. I giggled as I unwrapped my sandwich.

"I hate that stereotype, why can't dudes have frozen coffee without being made fun of?"
He looked at me with wide eyes and pointed towards me.
"Thank you!" He said in agreement as he took another drink.

Just then Jake and Colby sat down next to me on either side with a tray of sandwiches and hash browns. Their food smelled so good, but it was so unhealthy.
"Kara that looks good what is it?" Jake asked. I told him and offered it to him and he tried it.

"Mmm that's really good, I always thought their coffee would be really strong but that's like the perfect amount of sweetness."

I told him to try their s'mores one too cause that one was good.
Sam was last to sit down with his plain coffee and a parfait, and we quickly finished our food and made our way to our gate. I only drank a little bit of my coffee cause I was saving it for the plane ride. Sam took our plane tickets out of his bag and handed them out. We all checked out the numbers.

"Damn I was hoping for the window seat" Corey sulked.
I looked down at my ticket and realized I had it. As much as I wanted it I decided to be nice.
"Here lets trade, I had the window seat on the way here" I said as I held out my ticket to him. His eyes lit up.
"Really, are you sure?" He said as he grabbed it. I nodded and smiled as I took his ticket.
"Thanks dude, you're the best."

The gate opened for our flight and we all started to get on. We were in the middle of the plane and I was in the outer seat. Corey squeezed passed me to the window and Jake squeezed in the middle of us. I looked over and saw Colby sitting across from me, Sam next to him. As he buckled he looked up at me and sent me a small smile. I smiled back and looked down at my purse to grab my phone and headphones. I made small talk with Corey and Jake as everyone boarded, Corey was excited that he got the window seat. He told us he usually never gets it.

The flight attendant started going through instructions and soon enough we were taking off. Takeoff was probably my favorite part of flying. I put my headphones in my ears and started a song, and as we started picking up speed I glanced over at Colby who also had his headphones in, and he looked over at me too.

We both smiled at each other as the plane lifted off the ground, and we held each other's gaze until we were fully in the air, and Sam then tapped him on the shoulder and made him turn away. I sighed and looked down, realizing I still had half my coffee left. If I drank any more I'd have to get up and go to the bathroom. I turned and nudged Jake who took his headphones out. I offered him the rest of my coffee and he gladly took it.

The plane ride was quick it seemed like, and soon enough we were all getting up and grabbing our luggage. I was trying to get my bag out but it was caught on something, and I was too short to reach up and pull it a different way.

Suddenly I felt a body pressed up behind me and arms were reaching up next to me. The rings gave it away and I looked back to see Colby's head next to mine, looking up at my bag as he pulled it up and out of the cubby. He handed it to me and smiled.
"Thanks" I said with a smile as we both started to walk so Jake and Sam could get up and grab their bags.

We were cramped between everyone waiting to leave, and he was still very close behind me. I looked behind me to see him staring down at me smiling.

He was so cute, I wish I could have just leaned up and kissed him. In that moment I got a little sad, realizing we were back home where we wouldn't be together every hour of the day anymore. I really did love traveling with everyone, I loved being around them and filming and going on adventures. I think Colby saw my smile falter and he cocked his head to the side, trying to figure out what was wrong. Suddenly we were moving and I turned forward to walk.

We all got out of the plane and Jake told us he was starving, so we decided to Uber to a chipotle.

We ate and talked about the trip, and I asked Sam and Colby if they wanted to edit the videos this time since they were from back home.
"Yeah we can do most of it, but you're welcome to join us while we edit if you want" Sam said. That was his way of saying I'd still be paid for both filming and editing probably.

We finished eating and we took an Uber to my place first, and I said goodbye to everyone and they all thanked me for everything.
I went up to my apartment and dropped my stuff, looking around at the quiet room. As much as I liked my alone time, I felt way too alone in that moment. After being surrounded by a bunch of people for a long period of time, it was just weird to be by myself.

I decided to do laundry right away and unpack to get it out of the way. I put my phone on the charger so I ended up not checking it for a while. I cleaned up my lace a little, although it wasn't that dirty since I cleaned before I left. I decided to go hit the gym since I hadn't gone since before the trip, and it felt good to exercise.

I worked out for about an hour and then went back up to shower. The shower felt so good, I ended up taking quite a long one. When I got out I wrapped myself in a towel and and went to grab my phone. I saw I had two missed calls from Colby, a text from him and a Snapchat.

Some girls might think that was a little much but I smiled as I opened the text.
"Hey Im not trying to be annoying I'm just making sure you're okay..."

Aww....

I opened his snap which he had sent before the text, and it was a picture of him laying on his bed at an angle where I could see the other side of his bed, the caption read
"Is it weird that I miss you already?"

You could probably see my heart jump out of my chest. I bit my lip as I just stared at the picture, he was so cute. I couldn't believe he admitted to missing me, literally just a few hours after we saw each other. I quickly took my hair out of my towel and ran my hand through it.

When it looked cute and messy I held my phone up and just took a cute smiling picture. I replied:
"It's okay I was at the gym, and don't worry you're never annoying. I miss you too."

I read it over and hit send. My heart fluttered for a long time after that. I couldn't believe he was still giving me so many butterflies. I put on a black oversized t shirt and long blue fuzzy socks. It was about 6:30 and I was exhausted, so I decided to lay in bed. I put a show on tv and trolled Instagram. I got a snap from Colby. He was sitting on his balcony with headphones in.

"You look cute"

I smiled and turned over, taking a picture of myself snuggled under my covers.

"So do you. Don't mind me just going to bed before 7."
I set my phone down and passed out within minutes.
