Author's POV

Outside the office there was a big garden where everyone was chit-chatting and laughing with eachother. Some of them were eating, some were sharing the foods and some were busy to snatch foods from others. In one of the bench, Mehek was sitting and eating her food which she had brought from her home made by herself.

"Hi!". Mehek turned her head hearing the voice and came to see a man who was smiling at her.

"Hi!". She replied back with a soft smile on her face as he sat beside her.

"You're Adhiraj Sir's new PA, Mehek right?". He asked as she nodded.

"So, Mehek! I'm Lakshya, Lakshya Mehra! I hope that you didn't mind calling you by name!". He forwarded his hand to greet her.

"No, absolutely not!". Mehek shook her plam with him smilingly getting a friend at the office finally.

"Now, tell me how's your day as today is your first day here!"

"Pretty good. Even I'm thankful that I've got someone to talk as I was also feeling bored". She laughed.

"Aww, that means you're talking about me right?". Lakshya asked as she nodded and offered her 'Aloo Parathas' to him.

"Then why didn't you tell me before? I myself will come to introduce you!".

"I was little busy and while working I don't like to gossip!"

"That means you've already impressed Adhiraj Sir at the first day of your work, ha?". He asked teasingly.

"What rubbish!". Mehek turned her eyes.

"Yes, I'm serious. Today sir was in too much good mood which is very rare case. Even he didn't scold us for our mistakes at once. I was so shocked". He said while munching on the parathas.

"Maybe that's because of the sudden change of climate as you can feel the cold wind is blowing!". She joked as they both started laughing hard.

From little bit away, a pair of eyes noticed this and tightened his fist.

"Okay, now let's go and thanks for the Parathas! Please make them for me more frequently!". Lakshya requested as she nodded smilingly and entered into the office.

Mehek hurriedly came near Adhiraj with the files which he ordered.

"Ten minutes late!". He stated playing with the fingers.

"I'm sorry, sir! I was just__"

"Busy with your new boyfriend!". Adhiraj completed her sentence cutting her in mid.

"Excuse me! What are you saying?" Mehek raised her eyebrows hearing his words.

"I'm saying what I just saw sometimes ago!"

"That means you were spying on me what I was doing and what not!"

"That should be done because I've already many proofs of your suspicious acts and why you've to talk so much with Lakshya? Is he your boyfriend or husband?"

"That's not your look out!"

"That's my damn look out! Because I'm your boss and you're my PA not his!". Adhiraj shouted.

"You're my boss only inside the office. Outside it you're none to me and I don't know you! So I'm not bound to tell you, who is my boyfriend or husband and you can't order me like this what to do in my personal life!". Mehek stated confidently which again gave fuels in his anger.

Adhiraj came closer to her and grabbed her wrist tightly behind her back which made her came closer to him and fall on his chest.

"From next time, don't try to talk with me in that way, Okay?" He screamed as she struggled to get away from his tight grip but in no way he was letting in.

"Am I clear?". He shouted again as she looked at him with teary eyes and nodded silently as he removed his grip.

Mehek wiped her tears and ran outside his cabin. Adhiraj took a deep breath and sat on his chair closing his eyes.

It was 8 o' clock in the evening when Mehek was standing on the middle road for taxi after leaving her scooty in the garage as it got punctured.

"Hey, Mehek! What are you doing here?".

Mehek turned her head hearing the voice as she came to see Lakshya.

"Was just waiting for a taxi. My scooty got punctured!". She replied with a smile.

"Come! I'll drop you!"

"No thanks, Lakshya! I'll get a taxi!". Mehek denied as she remembered the office incident when Adhiraj reacted badly seeing her talking with him.

"I'm also going home. I'll drop you safely before going. Why are you wasting your time waiting for a taxi when I'm here!". He insisted.

"B__But"

"No if no buts come!". He cut her in mid as she nodded unwillingly and sat on the back seat of his bike.

"Hold my back tightly or else you'll fall if I pull the break suddenly!". He stated with concern as she did the same. Unwillingly though she held his shoulder and tightly grabbed his back as they left.

"Damnit! Again this shit!". Adhiraj huffed under breath as his car was stucked in middle road because of red signal when his call buzzed.

"I'll come in just ten minutes!". Picking up the call he talked to his mother and then disconnected the call.

He turned his eyes another side and came to see Mehek and Lakshya. She was holding him tightly and both were laughing and gossiping. He tightly held on the steering getting angry with the scene. As soon as the signal showed green light they went away. He too drove away his car roughly increasing the speed. Without caring the fact that he might meet with an accident.

Adhiraj came out of his car banging the door with a thud and rushed inside.

"Raj, what happened? Raj!". Shikha, his mother went near him seeing him so restless and angry.

"Nothing!". He left the discussion in just one word and went upstairs towards his room angrily stomping his feet. He banged the door of his room after entering and locked himself from inside.

Shikha knew something had happened with his son that's why he was behaving so weird and it wasn't the perfect time to ask him anything. She looked upwards at once then went to the kitchen.
