"Why didn't you come?"
"I already told you, I don't go for parties!"
Adhiraj stated calmly while turning over the pages of the files.
"But it was my birthday. It was important for me, Adi!"
He clenched his jaw hearing the name again.
"I was waiting for you the whole day and__"
"LEAVE!"
He declared in one word stopping her from continuing further. She walked out from there in anger.

It was the time of night when the door was knocked. Adhiraj turned his body as his sleep was disturbed. Groaning in frustration he lifted his arm which was wrapped around her body carefully. Mehek too opened her eyes with the sound.
"Ufff, who the fuck at this time?"
"Check na, please!"
Mehek requested as Adhiraj huffed and got down from the bed. Then opening the door he came outside and saw his man was standing holding some flower bouquets and a letter.
"Sir, It was left by someone at the door of mansion!"
He handed over the things to him.
"By whom?"
Adhiraj tilted his head raising his eyebrows
"We don't know, sir!"
"Okay you can go!"
They nodded and left. Taking them Adhiraj placed at the table and started reading the letter.
"Happy New Year, my love!"
Yawning a little he squeezed the letter and threw it in the dustbin. Then again jumped on the bed hugging her tightly.
"What was that? Who gave those?"
Mehek asked impatiently.
"Your secret admirer!"
She glared at him but he didn't show any interest and placing the head on the crook of her neck smelling her sweet fragrance closed his eyes again.

Adhiraj came from the washroom after combing his wet hairs with his nails and stood infront of the mirror. He wore his shirt, blazer and rado watch when his eyes fell on his wife who was gawking and drooling over him.
