Author's POV

"Don't worry, Mr. Singhania! I've given her medicines and injections. She will be gaining her senses within tomorrow. I've bandaged her forehead and changed her clothes too!". The lady doctor named Trisha spoke up.

Adhiraj nodded slowly as she left smilingly.

He looked at Mehek who was now deep in sleep without worries. He stepped forward and sat beside her. His heart was badly aching seeing her like this. A lone tear rolled down from his eyes. He instantly lifted his hand and wiped it off. Adhiraj became numb for a moment.

'He was crying for a mere girl? Why? Who was she for whom THE ADHIRAJ SINGHANIA was wasting his precious tears? He, who never cried from past 10 years was now crying for her?'

His vision fell on her palm. He slowly placed his palm over hers without knowing the effect of her touch.

'What was happening with him?' He asked his inner self but got no response. He shook his head and stayed in that position from sometime. After sometime he also fell into the cage of sleep.

It was the time of midnight when Adhiraj felt her movements. She was trembling because of the cold temperature inside the room.

He got up from the chair and switched off the AC and again came back to her but she was still feeling cold. He went near the cupboard and taking a blanket covered her body. Then placed her hairs behind the ears. Mehek snuggled more into the soft mattress and getting the warm touch. She was feeling relieved and comfortable with him in her unconscious mind.

From now Adhiraj was sweating as he had the habit of staying under AC and cool temperature. He was feeling suffocated under the hot atmosphere. Getting no option he removed his shirt and threw it on the couch.

Coming near her again settled himself on the bed. Placing his back on the headboard he sat properly keeping a long distance between them.

Then he closed his eyes to consume some rest as from next day he had to work again.

The sunrays peeped inside the room where two bodies were resting. Mehek stretched her arms painfully because of the last night's incident when that scoundrel gripped her wrists tightly and also she got many cut marks in her whole body because of the struggles she made.

She scrunched her eyes as the direct rays were becoming very difficult to open her eyes. She moved a little and with that Adhiraj's sleep broke and he got up with a jerk. Sitting straight on the bed he gazed at her figure.

Mehek also opened her eyes and slowly got up holding her forehead when Adhiraj took a hold on her wrist for helping her to get up. She immediately glanced at him shockingly. Then she gazed at the whole room which was not hers.

'What was she doing with him in a unknown place? Moreover, they were in a same room and same bed?'

Mehek looked at herself and checked from top to bottom. She became shocked to her core. She wasn't wearing the same dress which she was wearing last night. It was another one. A unknown fear started developing in her heart as she clutched the blanket tightly.

Then she looked at Adhiraj who was also shirtless. Her expression changed into a horrified one thinking the worst things happened with her. Tears rolled down from her cheeks like a waterfall. She hiccuped as words weren't forming in her throat.

Seeing her state Adhiraj got up from the bed and came with a glass of water and forwarded it to her. Mehek glanced at him angrily as blood rushed through her veins. She was feeling disgusted near him.

"Miss Meh__". Before he completed his words a tight slap fell on his right cheek.

"Don't ever try to take my name with your filthy mouth Mr. Adhiraj Singhania!". She screamed at the top of her voice. He looked at her with shocking expression squeezing his eyebrows.

"What do you think of yourself, ha? You thought that I couldn't understand your intentions? Then you're wrong! Yes I knew that you're heartless, spineless and emotionless person but I didn't think that you could stoop to this low. I wasn't bowing in front of you that's why you did this shit right? But you know what? I'm not that weak. You'll surely pay for your deeds Mr. Singhania!". She shouted angrily with tears in her eyes and hurriedly got up from the bed. Then left from there while crying badly.

Adhiraj's mind filled with anger as he tightly gripped over the glass which finally resulted it to break into million pieces. The glass pieces pierced in his skin as blood dropped from his hand wetting the floor. Grabbing the shirt he too left from there.

Mehek was struggling in her bed to take some air as the horrible nightmares weren't letting her breath for a moment. She got up with a jerk as tears rolled down from her cheeks.

'What will happen when everyone comes to know about everything? What will she tell to her family? What will everyone think of her?'

Her mind went black as she couldn't think much. She could only see darkness in her life.

'I'll resign from the job and will leave the place!'. She determined. Then gulping some water she went to bed.

The sound of the slap was ringing on his ears like a worst nightmare. He jerked off gritting his teeth. Again the anger was overpowering on him. His eyes were red and he was sweating badly. He got up from the bed and punched on the wall with his already bleeding palm. Then he broke all the things of his room. Within a moment his room turned into a complete mess.

"Raj! What was that sound?" Shikha came running hearing the sounds.

"What did you do? What happened beta?" She continued asking him but he stayed silent.

"Calm down, Raj! Stop hurting yourself!". She added painfully.

She held his wrist and made him sit. Then taking the first aid box she started applying some ointments on his hands.

"Now tell me what happened?" She asked but he was still silent.

"As you don't wanna share with me then I won't force you!". She stated as he placed his head on her lap and closed his eyes.
