Not long when she came back to the house, Adie came and saw his mother reading a book in the living room as if nothing happened while wearing glasses.
"Is that true? Are you divorcing Dad?" he asked
She looked at him, "I am not. I'm only making him get out of that cage." she answered before gluing her eyes to the book. "Why can't you just respect his decision?" he replied, restraining himself from shouting.
"Yeah, his decision. Not our decision." she argued "Maybe he just wanted to live a more longer life." Adie objected. "I am not arguing with you. You sound just like your dad." she scoffed and stood up.
"I expect you do not tell your father about my plan. I don't like waking up in the morning without seeing him." she only said before leaving.

The next day came and Adie did not stop his mother's plan but did not help her as well. As promised, he did not tell his father yet he felt bad at the same time.
Y/N went to the Commission with her son as she made her way to the bunker meeting the old man who was now awake laying on his bed. He saw her holding a big brown envelope in her hands making him frown at what it was, especially her expression that was frightening.
She opened the envelope and took the paper out and handed it to him, "It's the papers. Just sign it and I'll leave the house. Everything." Y/N said, her voice cracking.
The papers are not exactly real. It was only to make him get out of his cage and spend their lives together, it may sound selfish to her but she has no choice but to go in the hard way for her husband to notice her.
Five's eyes widened, "Y/N, a-are you serious? I thought you were only joking." he said in disbelief. And he has no urge to sign these papers at all.
"After all these years we've been married?" he asked, his voice breaking from time to time.
"Just sign it, Five. It looks like you already had your fun, you have children, and the Commission turned out successfully." she only said, stopping her tears from falling even when she knows it was an act. It felt real. His expressions were hurting her more than she expected but she really wanted her husband back.
Five shook his head, "That's not true. I didn't use you, I love you. You know none of that is true. Y/N if I did something wrong, I'm sorry. Just tell me what it is and I'll fix it." he begged, tears slowly streaming down his face.
He hated this feeling. He loves her so much but he really needed to do something. But at the same time, he couldn't bear the risk to lose her. He wanted to get up in this bed and kiss her like never before, for her to realize that his love was still the same for her. Only for her.
"It's not something you can just fix and let go. So please just sign it." she persuaded and offered him a pen.
Five sighed heavily before reaching the paper and Y/N's face went surprised. He just confirmed he loved the bunker more than his wife.
But it all went down when he ripped the paper one by one also crumpling it before throwing it on the floor. "What the fuck was that?!" she gasped, wanting to pick up the papers on the ground because she couldn't crouch.
"We are not divorcing. I don't want to. You are my Mrs. Hargreeves whether you like it or not." Five said stubbornly followed by a little smirk.
Y/N groaned loudly from frustration, "Fine! I'm doing this the hard way then!" she exclaimed before leaving the bunker.
"What hard way?! Y/N!"
She stomped out of the room with a furious face causing some employees to look at her and stop from walking, lowering their heads when they realized who it was. Dave followed her in the back, "Plan B, we're going Plan B. He doesn't want to sign it." she only said while walking inside her son's office.
Adie was working with some paperwork as he lifted his head to see his mother sit in front of him with a serious face. "How was it?" he asked "Unsuccessful. You're Dad was too stubborn, sometimes I just want to– arghh!" she groaned from frustration.
"Kill him?" Adie stifle a laugh
"I know I promised myself that I'm never gonna be that wife who wanted to kill their husbands but God— your father is going to be the death of me!" she exclaimed.
"What's the next plan then?"
"I'm going to do the unthinkable."
"What do you mean, Mom?" he frowned "I'll make myself young again." she answered making her son stop writing and look at her, "What does that gonna do to make Dad get out of his cage?" he frowned.
"Oh I'm not gonna make him get out of the bunker this time, he can die in there if he wants to." she replied "But why do you need to be young?" Adie asked, still in confusion.
"I'm going back in time, spend my remaining years with your father. But younger." she explained
Adie's eyes widened, "Mom, are you serious? I understand that you wanted attention from Dad but isn't that a little too much?"
"Love makes you crazy." his mother only said
He wanted to say a million things about why she shouldn't go but he didn't want to disrespect his mother at the same time, "Does Dad know about this? What if something bad happens?" he questioned.
"He doesn't need to know about it. He'll know it since new memories will come into his mind, I know he's hiding something. There is something he isn't telling me." she replied, twisting her wedding ring
"What about us then? How will Lana react?" Adie asked "She knows, and she respected it? Apparently, she said she'll do the same if it means spending more time with Oliver." Y/N answered
She also hated the idea and thought of it as something selfish but she can't go on with her remaining days of her life doing nothing without her husband in it.
"I know this is a very big decision you have but I beg you, as your mother, help me with this. It's the only thing I wish before..." she pleaded before swallowing big, looking into her son's eyes.
Adie took a sharp breath, it was the first time she ever asked a favour to him and he didn't want to reject it. He can see her mother's eyes so desperate that she will do everything for love.
