After a sweet goodbye to her son, she looked around seeing nothing but a total disaster like a massive bomb attacking the earth. All was lifeless and dead while gray ashes fall into her hand, the air no longer fresh as it used to be.
She has no idea where she is so she started walking, rubbing both of her arms from cold while finding her husband. She realized she still has her ring on her ring finger so she put it in a necklace that she found on the ground, taking the old pendant and replacing it with her ring.
It didn't take long to find him due to the sobs she heard as he finally saw the boy, kneeling on the ground in a uniform. It made her clutch the ring on her chest hearing her husband's cries as she slowly walked towards him, hug him maybe even kiss him but he doesn't know her yet.
So she had no choice but to just hold his shoulder softly as he slowly looked up seeing a girl his age looking at him with teary eyes, clutching a necklace in her other hand and noticing she was wearing a hospital gown and barefoot. He was a bit relieved that someone survived other than him but at the same time, he wished he listened to his father for him to live a normal life.
"I'm sorry..." she only said, most likely a whisper as a tear now fell on her cheek.
Five stood up about to say something but she immediately pressed her body to him, wrapping his arms in his torso. She started sobbing quietly yet Five felt it die to her breathing and sighs that she lets out.
"I'm scared..." she mumbled
'I'm happy I saw you...' she thought.
He slowly patted her back and gave in to the hug, also scared as her but chose to hide it. He looked to the bright side that at least someone gave him someone to talk to.
She broke the hug, "I'm sorry. I'm just thankful someone beside me survived, I thought I was the one left." she sniffed with a smile, "I thought so too." Five replied
She looked around the ruined building, "How did you survive?" she asked. Five didn't know what answer to give, he can't just tell her that he didn't listen to his father and time traveled to the future several times until he traveled too far.
"One of my uh... family protected me." He explained, "How 'bout you?" he returned the question.
"I kinda escaped the hospital and protected myself through big things." she answered. Five frowned, "Why did you escape the hospital?" he asked.
Shit. She forgot how smart he is.
"They hurt me. Made me swallow medicines that aren't prescribed for my sickness." she answered while Five saw an unusual watch wrapped on her wrist. It was light pink with a black circle in it rather than a clock.
"This is your house?" she asked and walked towards the ruined building "More like an Academy." Five sighed, remembering his Dad again "What do you mean?" she frowned.
Five never really revealed much about his past ever since they met, the it topics were mostly about the Commission, dumb things, or her life. The only thing he told her is that he has seven siblings and a shitty dad who named them as numbers without giving them actual names.
"I never got your name..." he suddenly said
Should she say her real name? Fuck it, she's his future wife anyway.
She turned around, "It's Y/N." she answered. "You?" she asked, almost forgetting to ask him.
"Five."
"Your name is a number?"

Five introduced his family to her, she was quite surprised that they all didn't look like each other. Five explained that they were all just adopted, he introduced a girl named Vanya first saying that she was his best friend, next was Klaus followed by Ben.
They pulled his siblings' bodies and give them proper graves, they never found any fresh flowers so they only put rocks on top of the soil and say their prayers. Five accidentally showed her his powers causing her to gasp but he calmed her down and said he won't hurt her ever, they were friends now.
"How about your family? We can bury them next to my siblings." Five suggested.
She shook her head, "I don't have a family." she muttered but audible
Five looked at her concerned, "What do you mean?" he frowned "I just don't." she only answered, blinking her eyes a lot of times to stop her tears from showing.
"If you're hiding something, you can always tell me. It's just the two of us in this world, what's the worse that could happen?" Five convinced
Y/N smiled softly before turning her body to him, her hands hiding behind her back. Five looked at her while she turned her head to one of the rocks that was laying on the tomb, suddenly floating like the one he see in movies.
Five's eyes widened, almost falling on the floor when he took a step back. The rock dropped back into the tomb, "We're the same. You don't need to be afraid." she slightly chuckled and he cleared his throat.
"I just never expected you to also be like me." he said nervously but calmed himself down
She smiled, "I don't really use these abilities. I don't like it that much." she shared "Why not? It's cool." Five objected. "Thank you but it's best if I just pretend I don't have one." Y/N replied and placed her index finger on her lips.

The two roamed around the dead city, finding some food and clothes which Y/N changed realizing that a hospital gown is a bad choice for clothing. They also found a mannequin in Gimbel Brothers that Five named Delores.
'So all these years, I have been jealous of a mannequin?' Y/N thought.
Either way, she accepted Delores after knowing she was a barbie. She also found some drapes that they could decorate on the ruined walls to make it feel like home, who knew she was this creative?
She put the things that they collected in a drawer and suddenly, her eyes landed on a vinyl player on the ground. She smiled before picking it up and placing it on a small round table, but the only problem was it was missing a vinyl cd.
Until she looked at the ground again only to see a couple of vinyl CDs scattered on the ground like magic. She picked them up one by one, some are broken but she didn't mind. She put the vinyl in the player as it started playing soft jazz music.
"Where'd you find that?" someone asked causing her to jump
She turned around to see Five holding an unmade tent, "On the ground. I figured we'll go insane if we have no music in this sad world." she answered.
Five find one of the songs familiar, "It must have belonged to Luther." he said "Really?" she asked. "Yep. From what I remember, he's the one who often plays music. Always turning it on very loud when Dad was away and we would dance to the song together." he shared while figuring out how to make the tent, not realizing she was smiling.
