You're still laying on the beach studying the clouds in the early morning sky when he finishes up and comes back to you. You hear him cast his board down beside you and after a second he appears in your eyeline, standing over you with a grin as you swat him away and grumble about him blocking the sun.
"It looks really good out there, I thought you were gonna stay out longer." You say to him as he throws himself down next to you on the beach towel, still drenched from the water as he shifts onto his side and wraps an arm around you with a smile.
"This view's a thousand times better."
