I recommend Change by the Deftones

I drop onto my back, Dustin screaming for me. My ears heard nothing. I felt numb. I felt like I wanted to burst. The wind was knocked from me, and my head wanted to burst. He was gone. He was gone. He's gone. There's no way. He promised forever. Forever isn't this. I look to Dustin, and start to hysterically cry. I needed to keep it together but I couldn't. He was gone. Just like that. He runs to me, tears in his eyes as he looks up at the window bewildered.

"We need to fucking get him!" I cry. I stand up, holding my back. I feel blood rushing down the sides and sharp pains travel.

"It's burning, Clary! We can't do anything!" He yells. I fall down, and stand back up.

"Watch me!" I start to limp to the entrance when a figure emerges from the fire. A big, tall shadow. Vecna. In our world.

"Well hello, Clary. We met so soon didn't we?" He laughs.

I scream and charge at him, wanting to rip off his head. He just killed the only person I truly ever gave a fuck about. The one person I lived for. "You're going to fucking pay!" He laughs and my body is slammed to the concrete ground. I hear Dustin call my name and run up to me.

I prop myself up on my elbows, spitting out blood. I grip the handkerchief tightly in my left hand and close my eyes. I had to do this, even if it killed me. Maybe I can be with you, Eddie. We can both die for good causes. "We can have our forever." I whisper.

"Clary, no! Stop! We can find a better way!" He shakes me rapidly.

"Just- let me, Henderson." I hear several people start to call my name. It was everyone. I look behind me, and smile. They all shake their heads, screaming, bewildered. But all I heard was an echo fading in a tunnel. Ignoring the stabbing and shooting pain, I stand up.

Vecna stood there, his hand stretched out. I feel wind hit my face.

"You can't phase me you son of a bitch." I put my hand out and slowly twist it. I walk towards him, focusing on my intent. "You fucking killed him!" My throat throbs from screaming at the top of my lungs. But all I saw was red. I push out with my hand more, seeing him slide back. He tries to retaliate with hitting me back, but it was harmless. "You killed my person!" I take both of my hands and push them out, watching Vecna scream in pain. I feel my ears and nose drool fountains of blood.

He drops to his knees, screaming. I smirk.

"You killed him!" I hit him again. "You killed my mother and my father!" And again. "Max!" Again. "Innocent people!" And again. I slowly start to see his limbs incinerate into ash, screaming in pain. "Fuck. You!" I close my eyes and imagine him as a pile of ash.

And when I open my eyes, that's what I saw. I turn to everyone and drop to the ground, panting. My head was dizzy and spinning. My chest was tightening and I felt my heart try and rip out of my chest. I open my hand and look at the handkerchief then I look up at the roof.

"I did it." I kneel down and my head goes against the ground, uncontrollably sobbing. I feel hands around me, trying to move me. "No! Dustin!" I plead and look up to him. "We have to go back! We have to!" I cry and I look up to everyone. "We have to—"

And suddenly, everything was black once again. A color I was all good familiar with.
