twenty-nine: is it a dog? a dog? doggy?

HIKARI HAPPILY KICKS HER LEGS.

yushiro and muichiro were both put in time-out because they kept trying to crucify zenitsu together. they now sit in a dark corner, plotting a new attack plan against the thunder breather.

hikari finds happiness, however, because the two boys seem to finally be getting along.

tamayo and shinobu work continuously, trying to find a cure for nezuko, and also trying to develope several poisons to use against muzan and and his upper moon demons. shinobu does not like tamayo (everyone can sense it) but she understands; the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

"wisteria poison is extremely effective against demons, but i worry that an upper moon will somehow be able to break it down." shinobu explains.

"then we have to increase the potency of the wisteria extract." tamayo states. shinobu nods and begins writing things down on a notepad.

"exactly my thoughts, but i don't know how to do that."

"how do you make the poison, shinobu-san?" hikari asks, her legs still swinging from the stool she sits on.

"i extract a certain amount of wisteria nectar from the trees." shinobu says. "and i also mic it with a bunch of chemicals."

"oh. i thought you ground the leaves into mulch or something." hikari says. shinobu and tamayo stare at each other with wide eyes.

"tokito-kun!" shinobu calls.

"okay, and then when we tie the noose-"

"mui-chan!"

muichiro looks away from yushiro. "yes?"

shinobu steps forward, and hands him a basket.

"would you please fill this up with wisteria leaves?"

muichiro silently takes the basket, and makes his way out of the room. shinobu turns to tamayo, who understands that she can't be in the room while shinobu deals with the raw leaves.

"i will work on the aging agent in the next room." tamayo says.

hikari gasps, happily following her mother out. "aging agent? what does that do?"

"it will rapidly age muzan's body, weakening his cells and his instincts." tamayo explains. hikari awes at tamayo's intelligence as she continues to follow the woman out.

"how cool!"

muichiro opens the door, revealing inosuke and hikari hanging around on the floor. inosuke seems to be placing his boar mask on hikari, who only seems to smile and allow him to do so.

"what the hell are you doing?"

hikari looks at muichiro, the boar mask still resting on her head. her eyes sparkle and her smile widens as she waves at muichiro.

"hi, mui-chan!" hikari waves. muichiro smiles and waves back at her before cutting a cold gaze to inosuke.

"what the hell were you doing?"
