~Amberly's Point of View~

• Klaus just stared at me. "So your not going to tell me?" I asked. He just blinked.

"I mean, I will ask someone else" I said and I meant it. "I will tell you sweetie but I am shocked...may I ask why?" He said.

"Because my friend Jack and my... boyfriend Matt just triggered their wolf curse and I want to make it to where they don't have to change against their will" I explained the best I could.

"All you have to do is let them have your blood in them and then kill them its the same as a vampire transformation dear" Klaus explained.

"Unless you want to be a hybrid as well" he added. I just looked into his eyes.

I mean, I haven't really thought about me being a hybrid all that clearly. I was going to turn for Matt and Jack but now I don't have to.

This may seem weird but I would like to be one. I mean look at all the benefits.

Immortality, staying young forever, compulsion, super speed, super strength, and amazing reflexes.

The only cons are outliving friends and not being able to reproduce. Like I couldn't have kids and have a family of my own.

I nodded and Klaus said "Are you sure this is a pretty big step, Amberly. Think about it before you make a final decision."

"I have thought about it. I want to live with you all, forever. Not many people can have their family for that long." I said, persuading him.

He sat beside me and said "I am giving you a choice, something my mother never gave me. You have just gotten here, love. It might be best to take some time to think."

"I don't want you to regret it" he added. I suddenly felt really upset. I know he is right but I felt mad, angry that he wasn't letting me turn.

I started breathing heavy and the room started to shake, "Calm down" he said smoothly. The shaking stopped.

"Sorry, I didn't know that was going to happen" I said. "Its quite all right" he said.

"But if you do turn, you will need to put your blood into viles for your friends to drink...as a vampire, your blood will kill them. I tried once and they all died. But you won't be a true hybrid." He said.

"How come?" I asked. "Well, there are no more doppelgangers to suck blood from and no moonstone for the proper ritual." He said.

"Well, that is okay by me." I said. "I want you to think about it, about all the things you want in life that you won't have as a vampire." He said.

I shook my head, "I don't have to think. I don't want this overpowering magic I can't control. I don't want to accidentally kill someone and be a wolf for the rest of my life. Becoming. a vampire is the best option I have"

He took a deep breath and said "Love, Rebekah was hoping to do you're room while you were gone exploring New Orleans today. Are you sure that you don't want to wait?"

I shook my head. "This room can wait but I can't" I said. I honestly have no idea why I am doing this.

Am I really this desperate for a place to fit in and belong? I think so...

"Davina Love! Come up here please" Klaus summoned. Davina came up within a few seconds to a minute.

"Yes? And Hayley is freaking out saying Amberly wants to turn. Is it true?" She asked looking at me.

"Its not for me, well it was for my friends...so that they wouldn't have to change every full moon." I said.

She looked a little upset. "I am guessing you want me to do the original vampire spell, don't you?" She said.
