Chapter Four: A new school and one familiar face

•"Wh-what do you mean, public school? I thought we agreed for me to do school online because of you know what" I stuttered. "I mean, your 17 and you should have a life, we are across the country for crying out loud, it would do you good to meet people your age, you can't just hang out with me your whole life." He said cooly but I could see the seriousness in his eyes. I took a deep breath to protest but he ended the conversation by saying, "Amberly, you can't live in this fear your whole life, live a little." I nodded and said "Okay I will try it, but-" "No buts" he said putting his dish in the sink and so did I. "Im going to take a shower and go to bed, okay? Love you, good night dad" I said hugging him,he hugged me back and said "Good night, and remember, you are starting your first day of 11th grade Monday" "But today is Wednesday" I whined. "I know, I got a school supply list and we, well you, are going school shopping Saturday." He told me. I just nodded and walked up the stairs. When I went into my room I headed straight towards the shower. When I got in I started to to think, me and Matt haven't texted all day, maybe he is busy, maybe he is done with me? No. He wouldn't just drop me would he? Okay, Amberly stop! You sound so clingy.... I got out the shower and wrapped up in a towel. I looked through one of my boxes and found a pair of black sofie shorts and a pink tank top. I put them on and threw my hair in a wet messy bun. I looked around and checked the time; 10:00 p.m. I decided to start organizing my room again until about, 11:00-11:30. It was 11:00 and I decided its time for bed, so I went to bed.

•It was sunday morning and I woke up to the sound of my phone going off, it was the annoying whistle when I get a text. I tried to ignore it but I gave in and grabbed my phone and seen it was from Matt! I felt a smile spread across my face and opened it:
From Matt♥: Good morning :) I know its early but I haven't texted you in like forever soooo I just wanted to say, 'have a great day' :).

My smile grew wider and I let out a big sigh of relief, why was I releaved? Who else would it be from? Well we really haven't texted since last week I think. I replied to his text
To Matt♥: Awe thanks :) and I wish you a happy day as well lol

I locked my phone and tried to fall asleep again, I got a good 15 minute nap and then I was up. I realized what day it was and groaned, I have to start school tomorrow, great. I got all my supplies yesterday.  Man, these few days went by fast! I got out of bed and took a shower. After that I put on a pair of black yoga pants, a pink spaghetti strap tank top, and some crazy color animal print socks. I scrunched my hair and put it in a messy ponytail. I decided to write in my diary. 

•Dear Diary,
          So I know I haven't wrote in a couple days but I have been unpacking and stuff, turns out we moved to Cali!! Im exited and a little nervous, nervous because my dad is making me go to a public school. 'I need to make friends' 'I can't spend my whole life in fear' blah blah blah. I can not go to a public school! I could get judged or beat up, and worst of all my stalker could find me and kill me.! But look at me, being negative, I need to stay positive, im in L.A. so maybe I could possibly run into Matt! Speaking of Matt, I still haven't told him I moved, but then again I still haven't finished unpacking yet sooooooo.....Idk what to write about now so I'm done for now

•I put my diary under my mattress and layed down on my bed for a few minutes when my phone went off. I checked it and it was from my dad.
From Best♡Dad♡Ever!!!!: Hey im not going to be home until late tonight around 11:30 12:00,  I have to work overtime, sorry...
To Best♡Dad♡Ever!!!!: Its okay, I will make dinner and leave you a plate in the fridge...
From Best♡Dad♡Ever!!!!: Okay, thank you, you know that your the best daughter in the world right?
To Best♡Dad♡Ever: I know, that is what my contact says lol, love you see you in the morning :)
