The "Lucky" One: A Mathew Espinosa Fan Fiction

Chapter Two: I can't believe it!

•I stood there still in shock as I carefully took in his facial features, his flawless complection and his dreamy chocolate brown eyes. It was Matthew Lee Espinosa.  Standing in front of me, I cant believe it! He is one of my many favorite youtubers! Amberly, deep breaths, in and out, just breathe. I told myself, realizing I had been holding my breath and then slowly let it out. "Uh uh..." was all I managed to say. He said "You know who I am" he asked, sounding more like a statement than anything else, "Shhhhh, please dont scream." He whisper yelled. All I could do was nod. I was in total shock, he just nodded and smiled then walked away. Gosh! Amberly! You blew it! It finally happens and you completely make a fool of yourself! STUPID! STUPID! I thought, am I really that dumb? But before I could do anything else he came back up to me, He came back!! and tugged on my jacket, "Well, are you coming? Or nah?" He said in his cute silly voice. I blushed and asked "where are we going?" He motioned towards Starbucks and smiled wide, it made me smile and giggled slightly. We walked into Starbucks and got in line. Im so nervous right now its not even funny, my palms are clamy and im extremely hot...but hopefully Matthew doesn't notice...hopefully. I looked at him and asked quietly "why?" "Why what?" He smiled innocently. "Why didn't you just leave me there?, How come you came back to take me to Starbucks?" I asked nervously. "I don't know, maybe I just did it out of the kindness of my heart" he said sarcastically, putting his hand over his chest. "Ha-ha-ha very cute Mr. Espinosa" I said in a sarcastic tone. He just laughed "Okay, what do you want?" "Ummm...a vanilla bean frappé and a vanilla cake pop please" I said cooly, wow I'm handling this way better than I thought, I would picture myself like that mob of girls...screaming and jumping around but I think im to 'starstruck' than anything to do all that. Plus I know how annoying those other fans can be, he needs to get a break. I want to scream so bad but I can't, I can barely even look at him without butterflies in my stomach and turning a dark shade of scarlet...but who wouldn't? When we were about to pay I pulled out my wallet and he pushed it down and said "No, no, I got it" I gave him a stubborn look and continued pulling the money out. He pushed it back once again and grinned "my treat." Seeing that he wasn't going to give up I sighed putting my wallet back in my bag. He gave a cheasy grin and I giggled. Gease, whats with it, with this kid and smiling. I rolled my eyes and we took a two seater table in the back of the little indoor cofee shop. When we sat down I immediately started to eat my cake pop. "Wow, hungry?" Matt joked. "Shut up" I laughed. "Im sorry, whats your name again?" He said casually. "Umm I never told you my name" I stated but quickly added, "its Amberly, by the way" "Well, Amberly, its very nice to meet you and I really like your outfit" he stated.  "Thanks" I smiled and took a sip of my frappé. "So, what's a guy like you doing in Orlando anyways?" I asked, trying to sound curious. "Well, it wasn't planned out or I would have given you guys a heads up on my social media accounts but I came with Jack and Jack for some new song" he explained. I nodded. "Umm, not to sound like a fan girl or anything but can I take a couple pictures? Whith you?" I dont know why I sounded so nervous, of course he wouldn't mind, but there was that chance that he could say no..."Sure" he smiled and pulled out his phone.  We took a lot of usies, my favorite one we took is where I sat on his lap, even though you can't tell in the picture, and he wrapped his arms around me and held up the front camera, then kissed my cheek!! I have to admit though, whenever he touched me i felt  jolts of electricity and I don't know why but I felt drawn to him. Maybe im just feeling that way because, you know, he is The Matthew Espinosa, I mean, who wouldn't be drawn to him in that way. Matthew broke me out of my thoughts saying "So, Amberly wanna play a game?" I looked into is sparkling brown orbs and smiled "sure, what game?" "Uh, 20 questions?" He offered. I nodded and said "Okay, you start."

•As we played the game there was never an awkward moment and quite honestly, Im suprised that I treated him like a normal person. Well, I guess its good I didn't make a fool out of my self. I automatically felt a connection between us, we had a lot of things in common but all the little things we disagreed on weren't major, for now anyways. I think we passed 20 questions because we have asked way more than that. I didn't really mind and he didn't seem to either. We had been talking for about an hour and a half, some fans came up and took pics and he would always apologize every time.  I just laughed. For the first time in my miserable life, me, Amerly Daniels, is having a good, no, amazing time with another human being other than my father. And so happens that that person is one of my most favorite youtubers ever! I feel pretty good about myself right now. "Who is your favorite youtuber?" He asked. I just blushed and looked down. "Awe, could it be?" He paused then said, "Me?" And flashed me a grin. "Nope, in your dreams" I said sassily, "Actually its Nash,so bye Felicia!" I said holding back laughter and waving my hand in the air. I was doing great at not laughing until he broke out laughing so hard he was crying! Right when he started laughing I did and I was crying too! "No, for real though, who?" He asked with wide eyes, "unless it is Nash" he added. I rolled my eyes and said "its you dummy" I laughed and so did he. He was about to say something when my phone rang. "Hold on a sec" I told him standing up and walking to the front of the coffee shop. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey, im on my way home now, I brought pizza!" My dad said cheerfully, "how bout we pull out some movies and have a father-daughter night huh?!" He sounded fairly happy for some reason. "Umm yea that sounds great dad, im at the mall now, I'll just leave now and meet you at the house? Thats fine?" I asked, hoping he wouldnt be mad that I left the house without permission..."umm yes?" He questioned curiously.  "Okay, thanks! See you in a few! Love you, bye!" "Okay, lov-" I hung up the phone and walked to our table.  Matt was just finishing taking pictures and tbe girls left and I grabbed my purse and said "it was an honnor meeting you and all but I really have to go" I said halfway sarcastically and politely.  "Aw...why?" He askes with puppy dog eyes. "My dad is on his way home, im sorry, I would stay if I could but I have to go" I said in a apologetic tone. "Oh" he said, "okay then" he said sadly, why was he sad!? Before I walked out the door he stopped me and said "hey!" "Yes?" I asked. "The pictures" he stated.  "What about the pictures?" I questioned. "How am I supposed to send them to you without your number?" He smirked.  I laughed and grabbed a sharpie marker out of my purse, I always carry them with me, I don't know why...I wrote it on his arm: 863-245-1748 ~Amberly :)(not a real number! Made it up! Lol). He smiled and said "maybe one day we can hang out?"

"Sure, what about tomorrow?" I offered. "I would love to but I leave tomorrow, back to L.A." he frowned. "Oh, thats cool, maybe on your next tour here we can" I smiled and he said "yea, I'd like that." We exchanged goodbyes and I walked out of the mall doors. I walked out to my car smiling, feeling like I was on top of the world. I just had the best experience of my life and I had thought I liked Matt because im a fan and all, but he is a great guy, cute and funny...I quickly gathered my thoughts as I pulled into my driveway. I got about halfway to my door when my phone buzzed, I immediately checked it and it was an unkown number, I unlocked my phone and it was the 100,000 pics of me and matt, okay it was like 10 pics but you get the point. I stopped and scrolled through them and at the end a text said 'heyy girlie, its Matt BTW, lol' my heart dropped to my stomach and I felt so nauseous...Im not used to these new feelings. I quickly saved his contact as Mattew♡ and replied to his text.
To Matthew♡: Heyy booeeyy, its Amberly BTW, lol.

I locked my phone and got to the house, luckliy I beat my dad home. I went to my room and put my purse and keys on my desk when my phone buzzed, I picked it up and read
From Mathew♡: hey! You copied me! *pouty face* Lmao

I rolled my eyes and laughed slightly before replying.
To Mathew♡: So, what are you gonna do about it *lifts eyebrows* bol!!
From Mathew♡: I'm gonna sew you!
To Matthew♡: you spelled 'sue' wrong! Lmao!
From Mathew♡: whatever! sew me lol

I heard the front door slam and my dad yelled "here with pizza and Dr Pepper!" I smiled and texted Matt back
To Matthew♡: Hey I'd love to chat more but I got to go, dads home,ttyl.
From Mathew♡: Okay Goodnight :)
To Mathew♡: Goodnight :)

I replied and locked my phone and put it on the charger and ran into the kitchen where my dad was laying out pizza and Dr Pepper! Yay! My favorite,just when I was about to ask what kind of pizza he got,he looked up, smiled, and said "Pepperoni and ham, and I also got cajun bread." I smiled and said "ooh! You know me sooo well!" And hugged him. "Well, you are my daughter...." he smiled and asked, "So why where you at the mall today? And this late at night?" I should have thought of a story when I was on my way up here, I might as well just tell the truth, I hesitated and said "Uhh, heres the thing...I was at the mall, buying a bathing suit, I needed one and I thought that today was going to be a good day to do it" I halfway smiled. "Okay, but why were you out so late buying a bathing suit?" He asked. Crap. "Uh-I uh met someone and we were hanging out and lost track of time" I said really fast hoping he wouldnt here the part about meeting someone I'm not in the mood for interrogation. But instead of questions he said "Oh, umm glad you bought a bathing suit cause your gonna need it!" He said all cheery. "Why?" I asked I don't know why he is happy. "I have great news!" He exclaimed, "We are moving!" I took it all in, its nothing I haven't heard before, but usually he isn't happy when he tells me this news. "Why are you happy?" I questioned politely.  "Im not, I just thought I would try something new"he facial expression changed from happy to blank, "They spotted him and then lost him so they are moving us in a couple days..." he trailed off. I suddenly felt my head spinning, Maybe thats why my nightmares started again, I can sense when he is near. This has happened before but I thought it was a coincidence, maybe not, maybe im crazy?. Oh well, I shook those thoughts off and went to the livingroom, my dad followed. "So what movie" he asks. "Oooh, how about Lost Boys?" I said excitingly. Me and my dad rarely have father daughter days, so im taking advantage of this right now.

•I had a nice time watching the movie and hanging out with my dad but it was getting late so I put my dirty dishes away and hugged my dad goodnight. I showered, brushed my teeth, and put on red and black Flannel PJs. I got comfy in my bed and before I knew it, I was out.
