Chapter Twelve

• Dear Diary,
Me and Alaric Saltzman talked yesterday and today during third period. I have been getting my makeup work from Renessmee. I feel bad for not telling her or Matt the truth. I have been making up lies about it. I have even been talking to him after class, before cheer practice. By the way, cheerleading is really fun and I have made new school friends. But I have been learning a lot of things. I haven't asked about Liam yet. Partially because I have been learning about the family I never knew and legands and myths of witches, werewolves, and vampires. Mostly originals because technically thats what I am. I should be freaked out, I am, but I think its really cool. I have learned that my biological dad, Klaus, got Hayley, my biological mom, pregnant out of some wild limb. She was a werewolf and he is an Original Hybrid. She was turned to a hybrid after my birth. She is in love with my Original Vampire uncle, Elijah. And my Aunt Rebekah is in love with my, not blood uncle, Marcel... I have to admit though, this has put a lot of stress on me. I want to confront my 'dad' but I want to know more first.
Also, I have crazy grandparents, Klaus killed them both for trying to kill him, then they came back to life after my birth and he killed them again. Well, he turned my grandmother, Ethster, and my grandfather, Micheal, is on the loose.... also, witches tried to sacrifice me as a new born so then it was Rebekah's job to hide me but then got caught so they gave me to my dad until it was safe for me to return. Crazy right? I bet they have forgotten about me...I mean, its been seventeen years....Also, my name is Hope...but Homecoming is in two days! Its a full moon that night...great. but I haven't triggered my curse, according to Alaric. He wont tell me how to though. I have learned more about Hybrids, which is what I am supposed to become. I just want to know more...but I have to go now

•I closed my diary and put it under my mattress. I then, got in the shower to get ready for school. I just can't believe all this stuff. I mean, wow, is the only words that come to my mind when I hear about this stuff. Its all so interesting and so scary. I mean, I would have never guessed. I also learned that the person we were running from was Alaric

He would occasionally check on me and my dad would think he was trying to take me away. I think I should talk to my dad about this, then Matt because Alaric told me he was a werewolf that hasn't triggered his curse. So is Jack G. I wonder if Renesmee knows... probably not, its a big secret.

I got out the shower and dressed into my western outfit for today, 'Western Wednesday'. Me and Renessmee have been twinning all week.((the outfit at the beginning of the chapter)). I really need to sit my dad down and talk to him... he hasn't really been around lately but this is serious.

I mean, he isn't even my real dad. Some guy named Klaus Mikealson is... man the family that Alaric is telling me about it is messed up...but no family is perfect. Not even one of vampires and hybrids. I really feel hysterical about all this. I don't really know how to feel, should I be happy? Scared? Freaked out?

I walked down the stairs and saw my dad in the kitchen. "Morning" I said. "Morning?" He replied. "Are you off today?" I asked. "Yes" he said. Thank goodness. "Can we talk when I get home from cheerleading?" I asked. "Sure, about?" He said. "That will have to wait til I get home" I smiled. "Okay" he said walking up the stairs.

My phone buzzed and I checked it,it was from Connor.

From: Mr. Franta: Hey, can we talk before you have to go to school?

To: Mr. Franta: Sure, meet me In the school parking lot in a few?

From: Mr. Franta: Yea, see you in a few...

I wonder what he wants to talk about, he has been so sweet, it must be me. But I can't recall doing anything bad...I mean maybe he doesn't feel a connection, like when we kiss I don't feel anything, he doesn't either...
