Wanda looked at the man who had taken her.

Her mouth was gagged and she was tied up to a chair. Her hands were tied down behind her in a way that didn't allow her much movement, therefore she couldn't cast any good hexes.

Not that she wanted to. She didn't see a reason in leaving. Afterall, where would she go?

Back to HYDRA?

Nonsense.

Loki stood at the end of the room, leaning against the doorframe as he looked at the 21 year old brunette.

She didn't seem fearful, which kind of annoyed him. He preferred for Midgardians to be weak in the knees whenever he approached them. Instead, the woman was just sitting there, staring at him.

Loki had a dagger in his hand, twirling it back and forth between his fingers.

He'd already checked the girl for weapons, she had none. He knew she was an experiment of HYDRA's, but he wasn't quite sure what her abilities were. Her legs were tied together, just in case she had some form of speed or jumping abilities like that wretched Hulk. Her hands and arms were tied as well, just in case she had magic similar to his own.

He had her mouth gagged because he was expecting some form of fearful screaming, but she really wasn't giving him much of any emotion. Kind of rude to say the least.

He stalked over to her, and her eyes followed his face, slowly lifting up as he drew closer. He removed the gag from her mouth and let it hang around her neck instead.

"Why aren't you fearful?" He asked, pointing his dagger to her throat.

"Why should I be?" The woman asked in reply.

That offended him.

"I have you tied down, you're vulnerable, and there's currently a dagger at your throat." He answered, eyes narrowing.

"Whatever you do to me can't be any worse than what I have already experienced." Her eyes narrowed back.

She had a thick accent, one he didn't recognize. The two stared at one another for a moment, narrow eyed glares on their faces. Loki then rolled his eyes and moved back, his dagger disappearing away from the girl's neck.

"So what's your name?" He asked, going towards the back of the room and sitting on the counter.

The room was a simple kitchen like room in a shed or cabin looking place. All the windows were covered so Wanda had no idea what time of day it was. Considering there wasn't much light streaming in through the cracks, she assumed sunset.

"Wanda." She replied, not caring about sharing her personal information.

What was he gonna do with it? Track her down with it on Google?

"Why do you care? Are you not going to hand me back over to HYDRA before tomorrow ends?" She asked.

"Only if they give me what I desire. If not then we're stuck together."

"That sounds terrible."

"And yet I don't see you making any effort to leave." Loki stated, looking at her from the counter.

Wanda scoffed.

"Where would I go? HYDRA? You clearly know where their bases are, so hiding there wouldn't be much good." She gave half of a laugh.

Loki hummed at Wanda's amusement.

"What is your obsession with the scepter anyways?"

Loki's look on her changed to make it seem like she was the dumbest Midgardian on the planet.
