That night, Loki and Wanda had left the tower and they traveled towards the HYDRA base that had been holding Wanda originally.
They didn't exactly sneak in, they kicked the front door open and shot their way through. Wanda knew of a map in one of the main rooms that had locations on a good few HYDRA bases, and she wanted to find it.
Loki was fine with this, he needed something to throw the Avengers off course, and if they heard of him and Wanda re-breaking into the base, that might confuse them.
Wanda walked down the hall, following the directions in her head, using her magic to keep people out of her way as Loki followed behind her.
She made her way into the main room she knew about, blasting open the door since even though it wasn't locked, dramatic entrances were a necessity.
She walked in slowly, red magic illuminating her hands, and the five group leaders in the room stared at her for a short moment. Then they all pulled out weapons and aimed them at her as she walked up to the map at the end of the room. Multiple points were drawn on the map and labels were at the bottom to say where different bases were.
Jackpot.
She turned around and looked at the men pointing guns at her.
"Move." She ordered.
The five's eyes all flashed red and they dropped their guns willingly, then stood still so Wanda could leave. She shut the door behind her, then dropped the hex on the men.
She saw Loki fighting some other guards and she rolled her eyes as he spun his scepter around and stabbed someone in the stomach. As soon as he saw her, he grinned and made his way over, taking her arm and teleporting them both away with a flash of blue.
They arrived back in the level 2 area of Stark Tower.
Most agents didn't hang out at this floor. It wasn't the cleanest and multiple cobwebs hung around the corners of the room.
Wanda walked over to one of the metal tables that sat in the middle of the room and she laid the map on it. Loki turned the light on and made his way over, looking at Wanda with slight confusion.
"If we start attacking the bases, it's best to go with the ones closest to us so that we can escape easier if it doesn't work out immediately." She commented.
"I'm sure it'll work out fine." Loki shrugged.
"I'm sure you're right."

3 Weeks Later.

"How's the work going with the girl?"
"Well. If you can motivate her, she's quite powerful."
"Good. Does she know of me yet?"
"No. Would you like me to tell her?"
"Not until you believe she is absolutely ready."
"She's not. Not yet."
"Then keep working."

Pietro was a wreck. He was pulling a Tony Stark, not sleeping, focusing on work too much, only opening his door for food deliveries and talks with a fellow Avenger (and sometimes not that last one).
He had a hand drawn map of the city on his wall, and multiple black X's in different spots. His hair was a mess, and his hands needed to be washed from the amount of times he pushed his fingers through his hair.
