That night, Wanda didn't leave her room.

Her stomach growled at her all night, for she hadn't eaten all day. She flicked her fingers and magic formed over her ears, muting the noises around her until she fell asleep.

In her dream, she was standing in a dark area, nothing to see except for a large mirror in front of her. She walked towards it, curious. She saw herself. She wore a dark gown with grey linings, and a M shaped crown on her head.

A splash of water drew her attention off the mirror, and when she returned to look at herself, she saw a figure behind her.

She jumped, turning around to see Loki staring at her.

"Hello darling." He said with a smirk.

"You can enter people's dreams?" Wanda asked, crossing her arms.

"Yes. Not my favorite method of communication, but definitely a valid one."

Wanda scoffed and turned around to look at the mirror, only to see that it was replaced by a large couch. She walked over to it and sat down, Loki joining her.

"So how come you shoved me to the Avengers?" Wanda asked, propping her feet up.

She just then noticed that she was wearing black flats.

"I figured it would throw them off trail. They know I have the scepter, yes, but they have you and most of their attention will be on you. That will give me the ability to surprise them with an attack."

He spoke calmly, as if plotting a bunch of deaths just came naturally to him.

"So I'm a diversion?"

"Exactly."

Wanda rolled her eyes, leaning her head back on the arm of the couch.

"But you are also a secret weapon. The Avengers do not know your strengths. When I attack, you can help and it will be as easy as... Well as easy as taking down superheroes can be."

Wanda moved her head back up and stood. She didn't want to hurt anyone, not anymore. Especially not the people who had just taken her in and gave her a fancy new room.

"No thanks. I helped you get the scepter, I don't want to be involved in this stuff anymore." She stated.

Loki stood up and the couch disappeared.

"I'm not telling you that you should kill them, I'm saying you should think about it. They took your brother from you and even though HYDRA didn't let you see him, the Avengers didn't let him see you. Not to mention the amount of cities they ruin just to blame it on the bad guy."

"You literally tried to bring an army into New York!"

"And they 'literally' tried to nuke New York. I was looking for new life and they were trying to destroy it."

"Fine. I'll 'think about it', but don't expect me to want to hurt people who gave me a nice place to sleep, and help you who gave me a crappy room that was falling apart."

"So they're buying your interest?" Loki asked.

"For right now, yeah. Absolutely. They didn't put a knife to my throat and threaten to kill me!"

"I wasn't actually going to." He rolled his eyes.

"Well it sure didn't feel that way." Wanda grumbled.

"You Midgardians are so fragile. I've had countless knives through countless of my body parts countless of times. And I'm fine!"

Wanda glared at him.
