The two went back into the alley, Loki teleporting them into the floor level where they originally left.
Wanda's eyes glanced around. The lights were off and since this area was technically underground, it was an eery dark feeling. Very horror movie like.
"That was fun. Maybe we could do it again." Wanda said, speaking a touch louder than usual so she could alert the Avengers if they were there.
"Yes. Uh, now that we're in privacy, I need to tell you something."
Oh jeez.
"Uh.. What?" Wanda asked, hopefully seeming oblivious.
"There's someone I'd like you meet. He's not of this world but he does know of you and he takes great interest in you and your abilities." Loki informed her.
Wanda took a slight step back, one that Loki noticed, even in the dark.
"I know." She told him.
"You know?" He repeated.
"I know that if you can't get me to turn over to his side, then you'll kill me. I know I'm just a weapon to you."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"The Darkhold. The Scarlet Witch. Ring a bell?" Wanda asked, taking another step back.
Loki gave a scoff.
"So you read my mind? Delightful."
Loki summoned his scepter and this time Wanda took multiple steps back, magic appearing in hand. Where the hell were the Avengers?
Instead of attacking her, Loki allowed the scepter to disolve with a flash of green, confusing Wanda.
"I can read your mind too, Love." He stated.
Finally, an arrow shot out from the dark and Loki caught it right before it could hit him in the forehead. The lights cut on due to Loki's command, revealing the position of Captain America, Hawkeye, and the Ironman.
Pietro and Natasha were out of sight.
The room immediately lit up with fire and green magic going at each other. Wanda turned and hurried towards the other rooms. Loki noticed and immediately went after her.
America's shield flew at Loki, knocking him forwards. Loki turned around and glared at Steve, using a blast of magic to throw him off balance. Somehow Steve called back the shield before Loki could grab it though.
When Loki turned back around, Wanda had disappeared. Well shit.
More arrows came flying towards him, along with blasts from Tony Stark's armor.
"Maybe you're not totally useless Barton." Tony commented as he walked around Loki.
Loki had summoned the most of his magic to shield himself. Wanda was better than this than he was. He was great at illusions and summoning weapons, not holding up a green shield for mass periods of time.
"I've just got my own agenda against this guy." Clint replied to the man of Iron.
Illusions. Loki should've thought of that sooner.
He concentrated and summoned a disguise, making it seem like he was escaping into the next room while his true form remained inside of the green bubble he'd created.
"How did he-?"
Tony was fooled by the illusion, and immediately flew after the god. Clint moved towards the wall where a vent was and slid himself in. Steve was still in this room, but when the other two scattered, he picked up his shield and made his way out.
