"Yes..... I know........ yes, I love you too........ yes, I'll see you soon." Kaiya giggled as she hung up the phone and shook her head. Older brothers are so over protective, she forgot how much she missed it; however as soon as she boarded the train a tall wall ran into her.
"Oh shit, sorry." A tall male with crazy black hair bowed in apology.
"You're good! It was my fault I wasn't paying attention!" She waved her hands as she tried to explain.
"No, no it was my fault really! I wasn't paying attention either!" He anxiously rubbed his neck. "Oh! Do you need a place to sit? Here." He moved over on the bench of the train.
"Oh, thank you." She sat down next to him. "I'm Miya Kaiya by the way, nice to meet you." She reached out her hand.
"Kuroo Tetsurō." He greeted with a obnoxious grin. "Where you headed? I'm going back to Tokyo."
"Oh, uh Miyagi. I was visiting my brothers in Hyogo Prefecture." She answered with a smile.
"Oh! You live in Miyagi?! Where do you go to school? Do you know any people from Karasuno?" He questioned with excitement.
"I go to Aoba Johsai. Ya I do actually, Nishinoya Yū. He's one of my best friends, he's actually libero on the boys volleyball team."
"Oh! I know Noya!" He grinned. "I actually go to Nekoma, we played them during golden week."
"Oh I heard all about that! And how someone was all over his precious Kiyoko." She mocked with a silly face. "Apparently they're friends now though." She smiled and shook her head. How did she always end up with the most dramatic people in her life.
"Ah...... That'd be Yamamoto. He's the ace on our team." He said as he pulled his hands behind his neck. "Hey, back to the name thing.... Are you by chance related to the Miya twins?"
"Yes actually. Those two were the older brothers I was visiting." She replied with a head tilt. "Why? I assume you recognize the name from volleyball?"
"Ah yes I do. My team usually sees them at nationals. Not that I've ever actually had a conversation with them, but pretty much everyone in the volleyball community know of them."
"Ah, I guess that's true. Anyways isn't this your stop? We're in Tokyo now."
"Oh, um ya it is." He started to get up as he packed his things. "Uh, by chance could I get your number?"
Kaiya smiled. He was kinda cute. "Ya here." She handed him her phone with a grin on her face.
"I'll catch you later then?" He replied with a smirk and a wink.
2 1/2 DAYS LATER
"Dude I swear she's coming. I'm not making this up. I actually have a female friend." He emphasized.
"Bro, how could I trust you have a girl friend as pretty as our goddess. There's no way dude." The other replied with doubt.
"She'll be here any minute now. I swear!" He yelled. "You gotta believe me bro! Don't leave yet!"
"Two more minutes. That's it-" He agreed as he was cut off as the shorter male was tackled from behind.
"Yū!" Kaiya yelled as she tackled the smaller boy. "I missed you! I have to tell you everything! It went so well!"
"Kaiya!" Nishinoya replied with excitement. "Don't you dare mention those.... Those scoundrels around me!" He scowled and crossed his arms as he pouted. "I was supposed to be your only brother!" He said as he leaned against the older girl. Kaiya just giggled in return. "I'd be a better brother then them........ can't believe..... stupid piece of....... Damn them.... Screw that....." He mumbled angrily, but quickly received a slap to the back of the head.
"Yū don't mumble, speak up." Kaiya scolded like a mother would. "You must be Tanaka, Yū's friend, correct? I'm Miya Kaiya, nice to meet you." She smiled.
"Ah......" he paused, Nishinoya quickly nudged him to continue. "Ah, I'm, ah Tanaka Ryūnosuke, uh his, um best friend. Ya." He stuttered out in a panic.
She quickly turned to Nishinoya with a smile. "I like your friend Yū." She tilted her head, smile growing wider. "He's odd."
"I'm not odd!" He yelled in embarrassment. She giggled again.
"So what's the plan for today boys? Volleyball? Bowling? Chilling at a cafe?" The brunette questioned in excitement.
20 MINUTES LATER
"When you said we'd be doing something interesting I didn't think you'd be introducing me to your team Yū." Kaiya sighed in exasperation.
"Hey! It'll be fun!" He replied. "We'll play volleyball and everything like that!" She just glared at the two boys.
"In my defence I didn't actually believe you existed, otherwise I wouldn't have agreed to bringing you here. No offence of course." Tanaka defended, while pushing the gym door open.
"Ah boys I was wondering when you'd make it! Hurry and start getting warmed up!" Coach Ukai yelled at the pair without noticing the girl trailing in behind them.
"Whoa......." He stared at Kaiya. "Who's she?" Hinata tilted his head in question.
"Oh! This is Kaiya!" Yū smiled and placed his hands on his hips. "She's my little sister!" He grinned as various shouts of shock were echoed throughout the gym.
"What do you mean sister? You don't have a sister." Narita asked confusion lacing his voice.
"Ya I d-" The obnoxious boy was about to reply but was quickly cut off with a slap to the back of the head.
"Sorry about him." The female bowed in apology. "I'm Miya Kaiya. Yū's friend," she paused in annoyance "not sister. You need to quit telling people I'm your sister Yū." She started to walk away but her arm was quickly grabbed by the smaller boy in plea to stay.
"Kaiya." He dragged on her name. "Don't leave! We still have to play volleyball." He said trying to drag her back into the gym. "Please! Just today then I'll leave you alone! Not forever of course, but ya-know for like, maybe a few days. I won't even text you! Or call you! I swear on it!"
"Nishinoya! Leave the poor girl alone!" Daichi said as he stormed over. "I'm sorry about him Miya." He apologized forcing the younger boy to bow.
"Trust me I'm used to it by now. We've been friends forever." Kaiya replied with an eye roll.
"Oh! Miya it's nice to see you again!" Suguwara said with a beaming smile as he waltzed over. "You should stay. Noya mentioned you played. We were just about to scrimmage."
"Ah sorry suga I'm not really su-" She started.
"If not let us at least introduce you to the team." He placed his hands on his hips. "You've already met Daichi, myself and Tanaka. That's Asahi, Ennoshita, Kinoshita, Narita, Kageyama, Hinata, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima. Oh and before I forget, our managers Kiyoko and Yachi, aswell as Coach Ukai. Of course."
"Pleasure to meet you all." The girl bowed. "I'm Miya Kaiya."
"Well!? Are we gonna play or not?" Ukai yelled with a booming clap. "We're wasting time!"
