Chapter 49

Kong POV

I narrow my eyes as I fold my arms across my chest. Why didn't he tell me he was coming today? Why didn't he come to me when I started to panic? Arthit looks at me, from the stage, I pout, laying my head on Aim shoulder. I hear chuckles from close to me and I know it's from my friends. I can't believe my friends were in on this.

I adjust myself to get comfortable, before laying my head on Aim shoulder again. Despite being annoyed at my alpha, I truly cannot keep my eyes off him. I start zoning out as I watch him walk back and forth in the stage. I zone out not paying attention to what he is saying, and soon I fall asleep.

My shoulder is being nudge causing me to wake up. I swat the hand away, trying to go back to sleep, I know I haven't been asleep to long. Another nudge then my name being spoken finally wake me up.

"Kong wake up," I hear Aim whisper in my ear. I groan a little as I open my eyes. I am disoriented for a moment before remembering where I was. I look up on stage to see Arthit standing there. Our eyes meet for a moment before he looks aways.

"Any other questions?" Somsak the dean asks. I hope not, I think looking around. I look around to see a female student walk up to microphone they put in the aile. I recognize her as being a third year, one of my seniors, an alpha. I sigh, I really need to pee.

"Have you found your mate yet? If not care to date me? I'm a third year, an alpha, and the campus star two years ago" she asks smirking, flipping her hair to one side. I look at Arthit and I can see the annoyance in his eyes, even if he gives a polite smile.

"young lady! that is highly inappropriate to ask! sit down!" Somsak scolded her, but she stood her ground.

"I don't mind answering," Arthit said standing there, one hand in his pocket. "To answer your question Khun, I have found my mate, and we have mated. We bare each other marks. We are also engaged." he said. The whole place grew quite in stunned silence before everyone started throwing questions out at once. I look at Arthit biting my lip, as he holds up a hand to silence everyone. He looks at me winking, as he wants for everyone to calm down again. "As flattered as I am at your offer for a date, I do have to respectfully decline. My mate, who is in the crowd today, is already annoyed at me for keeping this from them." More uproar from the student tried to figure out who his mate was.

I listen to Somsak try and get the student settled down. "Who is your mate?" someone yelled. My whole body tensed up, hoping he wouldn't expose me. I wasn't ready yet for that. I starting to fidget in my chair. Arthit waited for everyone to settle again before speaking.

"As everyone knows I am a very public figure. My mate on the other hand is not. My mate is not comfortable exposing our relationship at this time, and I will abide by their wishes. Only when my mate is comfortable will we release their name." He looked at me, before looking away, and I felt my body relaxing. More questions were thrown out asking how long we have been together? Are they an alpha too? Male or female. At the last question I saw Arthit eyes dart to me before looking around. I felt safe enough letting him answer the last one. "My mate is a male. My mother is head over heels in love with my mate as much if not more than I am." Arthit chuckle and I blush. His mother is always texting me asking me how I am doing, if there was anything I needed. She truly was the closest thing to a mother I had.

After answering the last question Arthit stated he had other meeting to attend, and it was time for him to leave. Somsak soon released everyone. I sighed in relief as I really had to pee. With the help of Ming, I stood up groaning, those chairs are so uncomfortable. We waited till most of the students left before heading to the exit ourselves.

"Mr. Suthiluck, a word " a voice behind us said. I tensed up. I knew it was Somsak by his tone. I also knew I was in deep trouble. This wasn't the first time I have been stopped by him. There have been called to his office a number of times since the school year started. Somsak also gives him the creeps and leaves him feeling off. He hasn't told anyone about this as he doesn't want anyone to worry. I turn and face him placing a small smile on my face.
