My footsteps were silent as I walked through the eerie hall. I could hear the terrified shrieks of test subjects, the muffled cries of the lost children soon to become whole. All sealed away through sound proof doors and walls, but still ringing endlessly inside my head.

'Todays the day of judgment, today's the day where 2 of us must die.'

Everyone was already put in their places. The children in the far corners of the room and their elder siblings equally spaced out against the walls. All redressed, all scheduled to wake up in about three minutes. I opened the door and there they were, sleeping so peacefully in white. I sat in my black chair, reading the files with each of their truths for the third time. As planned they woke up simultaneously, all expressing different emotions upon awakening.

Libia expressed more grief than anything, and it took a little while for her to realize where exactly she was. Her eyes immediately turned towards her empty eyed brother, who could only glare at me with his arms between his legs.

Rave's expression was different, as if he knew all this would happen. His lips were relaxed and separated slightly, his posture was a bit slouched. Rave gazed around the room to see who else other than myself shared the space in the room, he and Azoria locking eyes for three short seconds.

I could see the hostility in Azoria's eyes as she looked at me, she as well had a hint at where this would all lead up to. The way she was then, I could read her like a book, I could see the fire inside of her as she saw the children being brought into all of this as well.

"Why are they here?" Azoria asked so bluntly

"They're a part of this too, love."

"No, they aren't, they shouldn't even know about all this let alone be stuck in this building."

I couldn't help but hum and laugh excitedly, I may have been getting a little too excited.

"You'll see."

Freedom as usual was as confused as ever, but he had lost his curious spark, and fear had taken over. He didn't cry or whimper, but from the look in his eyes as he saw his elder sister seeing him here I knew he knew fear.

"Don't worry Freedom, Azoria and I both know it's not your fault. You would have ended up here either way."

Azoria moved over to comfort the boy for a while, and stayed there for a little while longer. I allowed it, and the fun began.
