My head hurts. I thought, my mind spinning in the dark. "Mono." I said in a hoarse voice. Why couldn't I feel the raft rocking beneath me? I cracked open my eyes and winced. The light above me hurt. I opened my eyes slower and adapted to the light. I groaned and sat up slowly. A thick, heavy blanket fell off me, and all around me metal glinted.
I heard a click-click-click behind me, and turned to see a strawberry blonde woman coming towards me with a warm smile and kind blue eyes.

"You're awake!" She said, smiling openly. "Who are you?! Where's Mono?!" I asked, standing quickly, dizzily, and looking for my bow. "Ah! Calm down, com down, I mean you no harm! One of my guards found you on the riverbed, along without friend. You've been unconscious for three days, so please, don't be so hasty. You'll hurt yourself," She said, "My name is Elizabeth, and you are in my palace."

I pulled it towards me shakily, and smiled at her. "I can control small bits! Not an entire estate, but it might be because you're older than me. At least, I think you are." I said, looking up at her.
"That's wonderful! I've never met someone who can control like I can." She said, and I heard a crash."THIRTEEN! WHERE ARE YOU?!" A voice yelled. "Ooh. I think "Mono" is worried for you. Your name is Thirteen?" She asked me. "Uh yes. I say this in advance, I am sorry for anything he broke." I replied shakily. "Oh, no problem. Items can be mended and replaced." She said, and a door opened up like melting metal, revealing a trashed room and Mono.
