"Jesse come on or we're leaving you!" My sister Kylie yelled from the bottom of the stairs. If I said I was coming that doesn't mean fucking rush me.

I'll be so glad when I get this day over with so I can go back home to my girl. Today's mother's day and we're trying to set up lunch for my mom, grandma and aunt. Everyone's stressed and yelling at each other and it's so irritating.

I talked to Sinead when she woke up and she's doing so good, I'm glad. She's having her brunch today with the girls and I really hope she enjoys herself. She deserves it.

I quickly grab my mom's gifts and go downstairs. I hop into the car then Kylie pulls off. "You okay Jess?" My sister Leilene asked.

"Yeah just ready to get home."

"All you've been talking about is going, what the fuck is so important at home?" My third sister Maya asked.

I haven't told them about Sinead and I yet because I've been trying to think of a good time to say it. I was gonna wait until she was around so we could both break the news but they've been questioning me nonstop. They're so nosy it's annoying.

"You have a new girlfriend?" Older sister Isabella asked.

"Y'all are so annoying."

"Oh my god it is!" Leilene exclaimed.

I groan and they squeal. Great, now they're gonna bring this up in front of the family. I'm gonna get questioned by everyone, I guess I am gonna have to break the news today then.

We pull up to the venue and park. We get out and walk inside. We're greeted by our cousins and their significant others. They were already setting up so they just told us what else needed to be done so we can do it.

I was putting flower centerpieces on the table when Kylie walked over. "So who's the girlfriend Jesse?" She asked and I shook my head.

"Can you get out of my business?" I chuckle.

"No! You're my brother and I have a right to now who has you so eager to leave your family."

"You don't need to know, you'll find out when I bring her around."

"Oh come on! I can't even see a picture?"

"No, now drop it."

She groaned and walked away. I finish putting centerpieces up then put out wine glasses. We have the tables set up so each mom is sitting with her kids and the grandparents sit at one long table. Cause you know, they started this.

"Okay y'all they're outside!" My cousin Andrew exclaimed.

We got to our tables and stood there. The doors opened and the moms started to walk in. "Happy mother's day!" We yelled catching them off guard.

Our grandmother gasped and started to cry. She's so happy right now and I love it. My mom rushed over and pulled all her kids into a group hug. She's so damn extra.

"I have the best kids!" She cried. I roll my eyes and pull away.

"Okay go make your plate, mom's eat first." Kylie stated and we sat down. We watched the mom's get their food then sat down. We made our plates then soon joined.

We ate in silence until Maya cleared her throat. "Ma, Jesse has a secret girlfriend."

Oh my god.

My mom gaped and put her fork down. Jesus, look at what you started Maya. She's so fucking messy.

"Who is this girl?" My mom asked looking at me.

I shook my head and kept eating. "Come on Jesse! You were all so open and excited about Kira. Why are you hiding this one?" Isabella asked.
