"Babe are you sure Harper is picking up the cupcakes? You know she has short term." Jesse asks as he sits the grocery bags on the table.

It's the fourth of July, my favorite American holiday. Jesse's so stressed due to the fact that we're literally gonna have a house full today.

My family's coming, Julian's family will be here, our neighbors, as well the miserable peanut gallery. Yeah, we sure do have a lot on our plate.

"Yes love, I called last night but I will call Ethan to be for sure for sure." I chuckle as I begin to pull things out of the bag.

Jesse's gonna make me rip my hair out. I don't want us to stress over this but he's such a perfectionist. Like all Virgos I know.

Not to make this an astrology thing but it's like when they make a plan for something it has to go the exact way the planned. If not, they turn into the scariest people possible.

"Do you have an outfit?"

"Yes, Diana and I went shopping that day you had a photoshoot."

"Can I see?"

"You'll see once I'm finished getting ready."

He huffed then rolled his eyes. "I'm sure it'll be worth the wait." He mumbled. Drama queen alert.

He began preparing the meats while I began gathering the decorations for the patio. As I was about to head out the backdoor when the doorbell rang. "Come in!" I yell. The door opens and in walks Harper and Ethan.

"Look who's here and I brought cupcakes!" Harper exclaimed.

"Oh thank god, you can help me!"

"Yes!"

She hands the cupcakes to Ethan then rushes to help me. She grabbed some decorations from me and we headed out back. I sat the box down and we began decorating.

"Today's gonna be so much fun!" Harper exclaims.

"God knows I'm hoping that it will be." I sigh as I put a table cover down.

"If anybody messes it up, I will personally fuck them up."

I laugh, "I don't need you going to jail tonight."

"I'll only go to jail if someone snitched, then when I get out, I'll fuck THEM up."

I shake my head at her. This girl is crazy. We finished up the table decor and the balloons. Afterwards we set up games and music before deciding to go get ready. She grabs her bag and we head off to my room.

"You did say this was a pool party correct?!" Harper asks as I head into my bathroom

"Yes!"

"Good!"

After I shower and do my hygiene, I put on a white bikini and a blush pink, green, and white cover up. I did a simple makeup look then I pulled my hair into a high ponytail with two curled strands in the front. Harper was dressed in orange three-piece bikini with a cute makeup look to match.

I heard the doorbell ring and we rushed to the front. At the door was Melrose, Diana, and Valerie, along with their families. Well Melrose only has her toddler with her. I'm guessing Neveah is with her grandparents.

Melrose had Neveah two days before Father's Day, this is the first time she's really been out of the house.

Jesse invited them in, and the girls immediately embrace Harper and I with hugs.

We spent the next two minutes complimenting each other, telling each other how good we look and such. You know girl things.

Afterwards, we head out back with everyone else. I wave at my dad and Rena as we head over to the chairs by the pool.
