Another sorry flies out of Seokjin's mouth before Namjoon sighs and assures him that it was fine. The older had spit his tea out thanks to Jungkook's sudden question, causing the tea to spray right on Namjoon's face.
"I can't believe I aimed right at your face, I'm so sorry," Jin cries with tissues in his hands, wiping the warm drink dripping off the sides of Namjoon's face. The other only chuckles, "It's really okay," he took Jin's hands using his own to stop the older from wiping the tea that wasn't even there anymore and stared up into his eyes,
"I know you didn't mean to."
Jungkook and Taehyung had rushed from out of the bathroom after getting a towel when they saw the position the elders were in and said, "So you are a couple! I knew it!" Taehyung cheers and runs right back to them to congratulate the couple. A humongous amount of relief had come over Jungkook and it felt like his soul was at peace, ready to be pulled up right by God himself with his right pinky. Not quite yet, though.
Jin plops right on the couch next to his "boyfriend" and sighed, "What were you saying before I spit out my tea? Sit down, let's talk." The two cousins get back to their old positions and sit on the couch opposite their elders. "I'm your adopted child from the future! I know this sounds crazy but it's really true, we went back in time thanks to Yoongi building a time machine. We found access to it because Taehyung here is his son," Jungkook babbles with eyebrows frowning, trying too hard to be taken seriously. His eyes were fuming and his mouth was spitting out every syllable violently as if it were Seokjin's tea.
"I came home one night from an irresponsible night out with Taehyung and you scolded me which made me finally break. I hated how you were always overprotective and when I made mistakes you got angry at me, scolded me severely, and that night you even hit me... instead of sitting down like this and talking..." Jungkook sighs and finds the confidence to stare at both of his parents, wavering between the two's eyes, "I thought that the only way to change your mind was by doing all of this, when in reality I was just too scared to talk to you."
Namjoon and Jin exchange sympathetic looks and reach out their hands to give Kook assuring pats. "Hey buddy, how can we help then?" Joon gently asks while rubbing the younger's head as if he was giving a massage. A sudden flow of emotion suddenly takes over Jungkook again, "I want to go back! I will sit down and talk to my parents. I promise this with my entire heart!"
Taehyung stands up too, now fueled with the same, pubescent mix of emotions, "And I, too, promise to follow rules."
The "parents" simply chuckle and Namjoon slightly shakes his head, "Well you better hurry then. Don't you think it's getting late? The rain has stopped as well."
The teens meet eyes. "Let's do this!"
They rush to put their shoes back on and Taehyung stood on the porch with the borrowed umbrella in his hand, waiting for his cousin to join him. Jungkook finished tying his shoes. "Hey, da... hyungs," he slowly speaks as he stands back up on his feet.
The two mentioned turn to look at him with equal parts of questioning looks present on their faces. "I really hope I didn't mess anything up in the space time continuum or whatever... But just in case I did, I want you to please forget about me," he confessed.
Jin frowns, "Why would we want to forget about you?"
"Please... forget about me," Jungkook repeats himself with great stoicism.
Namjoon smiles, "Sure."
And with that, Junki turned his heel. Only his back faced the two and he went with Taehyung, joining him under the umbrella. The fog and rain engulf them soon enough, never to be seen again.

"Why didn't you deny us dating?" Seokjin asks, settling down on his favorite spot on the couch comfortably. Namjoon sits down too, right across him, "The boy's been through so much. He lost a lot, and you saw how he looked. He would have been heartbroken if he found out he was wrong."
Jin mumbles some form of understanding before continuing, "He's just a boy, indeed... he's got a lot more spirit and imagination for his age, though."
"Having said that, his fantasies could be reality too," Namjoon states quite matter-of-factly but struggles to meet eyes with his "friend" after the words escape his mouth. Jin raises his right eyebrow, "What's that supposed to mean, Mr. Gang-leader?" He sasses, reminding the other of his position. It proved to be ironic calling him that, indeed, as he was too shy to even make eye contact.
Despite that, he laughs coyly and picks up his teacup, "Oh, nothing, husband."
