[namjoon]

Pancakes... Crepes... oh they all sound good... The menu was mouth watering, especially to sweeth tooths. All the staring at  bright photos of the sweet but savory foods was going to give me a cavity soon, so I placed it down a little and peeked from the top, looking at Seokjin. He looks incredibly focused for a guy who was only choosing what to eat.

Finally, he set the wide booklet down and looked up at the waitress who was waiting for us to speak. "I'll have the strawberry crepes and orange juice, please," Seokjin said, his tone was friendly and calming, as if he already knew the waitress beforehand.

The smiling waitress scribbled down something on her small pad of paper in her hand using a pen. She then turned to me and asked, "How about you, sir?"

"The chocolate cake and just water is good," she nodded at the two of us before stuffing the blue pad of paper back in her pocket and grabbing the menus from us. "We'll serve it to you by five minutes, please enjoy your date here!"

Me and Seokjin's eyes widened at her last statement. "This isn't a d-!" Alas, she already entered the kitchen, unable to hear Seokjin's slightly fainting voice as he tried to inform her. His jaw shut close and he turned back to face me in failure, his eyes met mine for a brief second.

I looked down to avoid the handsome fellow in front of me's stare and felt my cheeks slightly warm up at the imaginary situation of us going on dates, being the annoyingly sweet couple everyone was jealous of, laughing as we gazed upon the stars above, kissi- nope.

"Do you really think other people thought we were a couple?" the shy voice infront of me asked. I lowly chuckled to cover up the fact that my cheeks were burning by now, "I guess so..."

From the corner of my eye, I could see a slight grin form on his face and his cheeks painted crimson, he makes it so hard to not fall for him. The sound of footsteps came to our table and I looked up to see the same waitress, she placed two plates down, one containing each of our orders. "Will that be it?" she asked.

"Yes! Thank you!" I answered. She gave a slight bow while saying, "We hope you enjoy the food, enjoy your date~"

She dashed away again before neither me nor Seokjin could tell her that we weren't on a date. It was unnecessary, but it was embarrassing for us to think others thought we were dating. Jin shrugged his shoulders and started to eat, seemingly letting go of the whole date thing, making me do the same.

Small sounds came out of the guy infront of me, "Mmm, this is good!" he squealed. I stared at him in awe as he continued to make sounds of satisfaction. Once both he and I realized I was staring, a certain tension came over the atmosphere along with an unbearable quietness. He cleared his throat and swallowed down the left over food in his mouth, "sorry.. I've been known to make weird sounds while eating," he apologized. I chuckled at him and straightened my back, "It's alright, it's cute."

He looked up at me and his cheeks puffed up, forming into a small smile. Our plates soon got emptied completely, barely even getting noticed by us because we were too busy talking about the most random of things; how I could break things without much effort, how a few days ago we despised each other but here we are, how he could stop Junki from doing anything just by a stare.

"Ah! Yes, Junki..." I sprung up my voice after he had mentioned the teen. "Strange... I'm not sure who is though," he chuckled before continuing, "Is he strange for being so close to us even after just a few days or are we strange because we're so close to him even after even just a few days?"

His observation made me stop in my tracks of eating and think, "I think we're all strange, he calls us his dads and we call him our child." He nodded and sighed, "It's still very strange to me.. I just have this feeling that we... well we're connected.. all of us. But it only came since I met Junki."

  This time I froze. "Same.."

He froze too, and we looked up at each other to meet eyes at the same exact time. "Damn... we're crazy.." he muttered jokingly. I laughed, silently whispering in between "crazy about you...."

[narrative]

The birds happily hummed melodic chirps as the two friends walked by. It was so cold now, yet the warmness of their hearts bonding together distracted them from the dropping temperature. Walking together almost fully synchronized, clouds of smoke escaping their nostrils and mouths faded away into thin air slowly, and so did their worries. Their hands brushed occasionally and it made the older blush like a schoolgirl.

It had already reached around three o'clock when the two finished going around town just following where their feet take them. They didn't care, no, they were together and bonding like a happy couple, that was their focus.

Months ago the two despised each other, hated seeing each other's face, bothered to be breathing the same air as the other. Until now they still couldn't figure out why it was that way. It was just a random disliking. Weird, they both thought, but didn't have the heart to tell the other out loud. Well that was what Seokjin thought.

Again, like a couple, Namjoon insisted to walk Seokjin home after their.... hangout. He didn't like the term date, even if it was more fitting for their setting.
He wasn't convinced he liked Seokjin, just felt a new warmness to the other, yeah. That was it. Totally.

It was just like when you meet someone new, he was unsure if it was only him, but every time he met someone new that was nice he always had a small crush on them.......

Ah. Who was he fooling. He was already totally inlove with Seokjin since the day they met.

"Namjoon? This is my apartment!" Seokjin waved his hand around infront of the daydreaming boy's face, startling the other a little. "Ah! Yes, yes. Sorry," he apologized and bowed.

"Alright," the older giggled, "thanks for that wonderful day... I really... enjoyed it.. and.. I hope we can go on another.... date sometime...." Seokjin slowly rambled, voice getting lower and lower until the last part was almost a whisper. He shook his head rapidly and turned away, "OKAY BYE NOW!!"

He ran away, not before waving to Namjoon who had a slight grin present on his face. "Bye...." the boy muttered, trying to sound excited but he ended up sounding relaxed. Seokjin didn't really catch on though, as he already entered his home by then. Namjoon turned away from the apartment and onto the street. A dimpled smile crept to his face almost instantly.

He took out a mini-notebook from his jacket with a cute crab design on tbe front which served as his personal diary. His mind could only think of Seokjin and Seokjin only. And so he wrote,,

Today marks one of the best days in my life.
