9) twobit+Dally⚠️

A/N: Okay so in this, Dally is 23 and Twobit is 24. They share a house with Johnny and Ponyboy. Also Johnnyboy will be mentioned in this.

Twobit sighs as he puts away the last clean dish. Ponyboy and Johnny are at Darry's house for dinner, and Dally is running a few errands, including stopping at his parents' house. His mom had just gotten home from a trip so he wanted to see her. Twobit smiles as he thinks of Dally running to his mom, hugging her tightly. Twobit's mom had moved away a year ago, leaving the four bedroom house to him. In desperation for being able to afford the expenses, Two bit had Ponyboy move in. Johnny came shortly after, followed by Dally. Now, as he's home alone, he feels relief in knowing this wasn't a normal thing. Two bit has always enjoyed being with those he cares about, so he is very relieved to be with his boyfriend and close friends. He walks into the room he shares with Dally as he throws some laundry into their bin. He is just about to sit on the bed before he hears the door slam shut and stumbling. He looks up as Dally walks into the room. Dally's face is covered in blood and cuts, and he will no doubt have a bruise in the morning. 

"Oh my- what happened?" Two bit rushes to him, sitting the younger man down on the bed. 

"I'm fine. I just got into it with my dad," Dally explains. 

"What? Why?" Two bit asks, knowing that usually Dally is able to keep his temper in control most of the time. 

"Well, he came into the house, saw me, and started running his mouth. I guess I just lost it, so I punched him," Dally says softly. 

Two bit walks into the adjoining bathroom and grabs the first aid kit. As he returns, he sits next to Dally as he begins to clean off the blood. Once the blood is gone, he uses disinfectant before applying butterfly bandages when needed. 

"So, what did he say that caused you to lose your cool?" Two bit asks as he helps dally take off his shirt. 

"It's not important," Dally says softly. 

"It is to me," Two bit says as he sits back down after helping Dally into a new shirt. 

"He had heard a rumor about us being together," Dally says softly, "he wasn't exactly happy."

"Was he homophobic to you?" Two bit asks softly. 

"Yeah, but that I could have lived with," Dally responds. 

"Then what was it?"

"He c-called you the word," Dally says, anger dripping on his face.

"Oh, baby," Two bit says as he kisses Dally on the cheek. 

"I couldn't let him say that about you," Dally says, wrapping an arm around Two bit as he kisses the older man on the top of his head. 

The two men walk into the living room and sit on the couch, watching the television. Just as they are halfway through the show, cuddling with one another, Ponyboy and Johnny walk in. 

"Woah, what happened to you?" Ponyboy asks Dally.

"Got in a fight," Dally responds simply. He was not about to let them know it was with his father because he was homophobic. Johnny still struggles with homophobia. 

"Anyways, how was dinner with your brothers?" Two bit asks. 

"It was good. Darry has a new girlfriend," Johnny responds as Ponyboy was lost in the television. 

"Good for him!" Dally exclaims. 

Ponyboy and Johnny sit next to the other couple, also cuddling. They all watch meaningless shows, joking about what happens with one another.
