'Please don't leave me here.' odie begged 'please sandor please don't leave me with strangers.' odie sobbed into him. 'Sandorrrrr!' she moaned
'I'm so sorry baby. I'm so sorry.' He wiped the tears from her eyes. 'We don't have a choice.'
'I'm just a kid I haven't bled.' She reminded him as they dismounted, she stay high on Athena. Sandor reached for her. 'what if I never do! What if I never bleed! Lets just wait. We go home,' she said thinking through a better alternative 'and we tell father they wanted to wait until I bled and then I pretend I never bleed.' odie suggested.
'Sweetie-' sandor pulled her down from her horse.
'Sandor please, please,' she moaned holding tight to him. 'Don't do this, don't do this.' she repeated tears falling from her face still sandor held his baby sister tight as Ned stark approached.
'Lady Clegane-'
'I'm no lady I'm just Odetta,' she told him miserably as she wiped at her nose and eyes. Ned dropped to one knee in front of her.
'Odetta it is so nice to meet you. I'm Ned stark.' Ned stuck out a hand and odetta looked back at sandor he nudged her forward and odie shook his hand.
'Nice t-to meet you.' she said pathetically.
'I'm her brother, Sandor.' Sandor said stepping forward, he leaned over Odetta and shook neds hand.
'glad to have you both.' Ned told them, his eyes lingered on sandors face a bit too long before he turned his gaze back to a scared little Odetta. 'Come inside you must be cold.' Ned offered her hand but she clung to sandor.
'Come on odie lets get you inside.' Sandor coed taking her hand her feet dragged through the snow as she saw neds family her future husband watching her she kept her head down as Ned deposited them in a room. Saying they could meet everyone in the morning. Odie cried herself to sleep in sandor arms and nothing he could say or do would change how she felt because little Odie looked how sandor himself felt. He didnt want to lose his baby sister. Even if he was supposed to head to the capital and become the princes guard after this, Odie was his responsibility and he didn't want to leave her in the hands of strangers.
