VEGAS:

Pete slept soundly, as usual snuggled into my pillow, which I had put to his shoulders when I got up. The clock was just showing 2:43 in the morning, but I still couldn't fall asleep, thinking only of the boy who was waiting for me in the basement. I cautiously went out to the office and then to the corridor and there was only silence around. In the dark I went downstairs, not being in need for any light, as before, when Pete was not yet in my life, I often wandered through these corridors after midnight, so I could go down the stairs and then to the basement entrance in peace, without the need for brightness.

The damp smell hit me as soon as I crossed the threshold, but I was focused only on the man lying on the ground. His legs and hands were tied, gag was put in his mouth and his eyes covered, because there was a possibility that he would come up with a stupid idea of taking his own life that I could not agree to. It is true that he will soon stop breathing, but this is what I will take care of by myself. I hated when my victims deprived me of the pleasure of playing with them.

I went to the shelves that were laid out against the wall and took some of the things I was going to use. I put everything on the counter next to it and headed towards the burglar, opening his cell and dragging him to a chair attached with chains. I heard moans and snorts from him, but I ignored everything, I had to prepare for our games.

I tied hands and legs tightly to the furniture, then I untied the fabric from his eyes, because I wanted to see the fear in them. The boy looked at me with a challenge, pretending that he was not afraid, but it only gave me more pleasure. I wanted to make those eyes cry, beg me for mercy that I wouldn't give them.

- First you poisoned my lover - I whispered, stretching my mouth in a threatening, chilling smile. - Then you attacked him and interrupted our time of punishment? You won't leave here alive, but how long it will take to do to you depends on what you say. - I didn't raise my voice, I didn't have to. With each of my words, the stranger swallowed saliva with difficulty, and his throat twitched uncontrollably. - Nod your head if you understand.

The boy did not twitch and I laughed, enjoying his rebellious behavior. I wanted to tear off his skin, cut off his tongue and feed it to Tankhun's fish, but that would be too easy. First I needed answers and I knew I would get one. I was a professional when it came to breaking people's souls. Pain was a wonderful tool for this, especially when others were unable to escape from it.

- As you wish - I muttered, then grabbed the cloth with which I tightly covered his face. Next to it lay a garden hose, which I moved to a veiled place where the man's mouth must have been, and tilting his head I started the water, which hit the choking burglar with a strong stream. I turned off the liquid, letting him catch a deeper breath, and repeated everything until the boy began to make loud noises, as if begging me to stop.

- Hmdhkd, djdljdl, hmdndhd  - I heard, so I took the material off his face and repeated it.

- Nod your head if you understand.
