ALCAZIO:

The light went out, causing confusion all over the floor. I grabbed my gun harder, cowering and moving on to the wall plastered with pictures. I felt like screaming when I saw the nude photographs of Macau. I wasn't interested in whether anyone had seen my body without clothes, but knowing that others had seen my tiger in a negligee drove me crazy. No one had right to see that body, only me.

- Vegas? Are you on the line? – I asked, starting the handset, thanks to which we could communicate.

Silence answered me and I knew that things were bad on the second floor. I didn't envy those who were with Vegas now, the guy must have been on the verge of madness and mad Vegas was worse than the devil. I saw him in action few times and whenever something has been related to Pete, this man was losing his mind.

- Kinn? - I whispered and immediately heard a murmur beside me.

- I am here - muttered a voice right next to me.

- Me too - the next one added, and I breathed with relief.

- We have to be careful, we don't know what's going to happen here - I said, clenching my hand tighter on the gun.

I couldn't let my feelings overwhelm me, so I took a deep breath a few times, calming my confused thoughts.

- Only the elevator leads to the floors, there are no other entrances - Kinn warned, and I nodded in understanding, though he couldn't see it.

This gave us some room for manoeuvre. Before the darkness, I managed to quickly look around the whole and although the room was large, damaged walls and lack of furniture made it not difficult to see through every corner.

- Alcazio? - Pete's voice came to me from the earbud. – Caz!

- Yes? - I focused on him, hearing nervousness in his voice.

- Pull the UV lamp out of your bag and point it at the wall - he ordered, and I immediately began to look for what he was talking about in my backpack. - Do you see that?

I lit up the flashlight and quickly swept through the photos, noticing that something had appeared on them. I did it again, this time more slowly, and with difficulty swallowing the saliva, I saw the inscription appearing, most likely added by some phosphorescent paint.

"Thank you for your help, K. You are free now. Good dog."

- Who the hell is K? - Kinn asked, and I thought about every single employees of Vegas.

- Kora, Kin, Kar - I repeated, trying to remember other names, but nothing else came to my mind. - Damn it, are there more? - I asked myself, focused on that one visible letter on the wall.

- It couldn't be someone from us - Pete said, recalling that he was still on the line. - Maybe the kitchen and pool are easy to hide the cameras, even Vegas' office, they would be able to make it there, but not our bedroom. And not the Venice room. We have special rules put in place there.
