MACAU:

I looked, terrified, with mouth wide open, at the figure who ran out of the child's room in tattered, bloodied clothes and a gunshot wound to the thigh. Scared, while holding Venice in her hands, Jenna looked at me with eyes filled with tears and pain. Woman was crying, barely limping towards me, and I noticed another wound, this time inflicted with a knife, on her exposed forearm. Just behind her, a masked man rolled out of the room, cursing under his breath. Pieces of glass protruded from his head and I recognized in them the remnants of the colorful lamp that lay by the little one's bed. Jenna had to hit the attacker with it, smashing it on his head, using the last of her strength and escape, taking the child with her. Venice cried as much as he could with his small lungs. I knew we didn't have much time and I had to help them immediately.

- Master Macau! - shouted the terrified woman. - Please run! He wants to kill us! Macau!

Sobered by her words, I ran up quickly, taking the child from her tired, trembling hands and, dragging her behind me, we ran into the room where my father's office had once been. I immediately locked the place with a key, which fortunately was always stuck in the lock, and when I made sure no one will barge in, I pressed on the specific book from the library, showing the hidden door that led to one of the best secured places in Bangkok, the minor family saferoom. I typed in a combination that only I, Vegas and Pete knew, and the door that blocked the entrance began to open, revealing a spacious, full of the most necessary products room with a double bed. Someone put a basket filled with children's belongings on the table, and I knew it was Pete, who always made sure that in case of danger everything was prepared beforehand. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the two of them in a place that no one but us would have access to, but I knew that those close to me were still in danger. Porschay and Tankhun were somewhere in the house, possibly hiding from the attackers.

I didn't know where all the bodyguards were, and I couldn't wait for a miracle, praying that one of them would save us. I had to take action, so I gave the two of them one last look and withdrew, returning to the office.

- Sir, you're not allowed to go there, they have guns! - Jenna repeated, but I could not help but check whether the rest managed to hide safely.

I took the gun that was hidden at the table and closed the door behind me, blocking it with the right combination of signs. Before they disappeared from my sight, I asked her, with a heart filled with fear to take care of the child. Jenna nodded, looking at me with tears in her pupils.

- There must be a first aid kit somewhere, use it. Everything will be fine, you will see - I promised, although I did not believe it myself.

Again, I was left alone and did not have much time to think, I had to make a decision immediately, but more than that I had to contact the rest. I tried to use the phone from the office, but we were cut off the electricity, even our additional generator was not working. Someone had to plan it for a long time, because he knew that we were hiding additional equipment that we used in the events of a sudden attack.
