VEGAS:

I stroked Pete, who was still hugging me, on the back, kissing his temple every now and then. I felt his hands tightly clamped on my shirt and I was glad he wasn't crying anymore. Today was a tiring day, but it gave me a lot to think about. I knew that my previous relationship with Porsche might not have looked good for Pete, especially when I tried to convince everyone that there was something between us, but I didn't think my lover was still jealous. There was no one else in my life, I didn't even think that now my body could accept any other man, so I was relaxed in my relations with Porsche. Patting on the back, teasing, laughing at jokes that others might not understand... That was my mistake. I should put up barriers that would calm my partner, because Pete is not a man who likes to complain. On the contrary, often my lover hides deeply his negative feelings, as if he does not want to hurt the rest of us. But what about him? Bad move, Vegas, you need to fix it immediately.

- Pete? - I whispered, carefully lifting his head snuggled to my shoulder.

I saw his mouth slightly open, calmly exhaling. Snoring spread throughout the bathroom and I wanted to laugh. Pete was asleep, probably because of the alcohol he drank, as it eventually sweep him off his feet. I sighed, shaking my head in disbelief, and slowly took him in my arms, carrying tiny body to the bedroom. I had two options, to stay here, which I know wouldn't satisfy me or Pete, or to dress him up and go home. Everywhere good, but at home the best, with this motto I chose the second idea.

Without waiting long, I put on his pants and shirt, ignoring the jacket, which I just threw over my shoulder, and then took him in my arms again, princess style. Pete's body always gave me the indescribable feelings, but that night all I wanted was to embrace him in my arms and let him sleep sweetly, he truly needed to feel love more than usual. Feeling my body next to his, Pete immediately snuggled his head into the hollow of my neck, sniffing for a moment. I think my smell pleased him, because he sighed, tickling me harder with his nose.

- Why are you so damn cute? – I muttered to myself, calmly leaving the room.

I didn't want to explain myself to the host, so I used exit that was prepared for the employees and soon after we were out. Cold air surrounded us and Pete snuggled into me tighter as I quickly walked into the car, sliding him inside the back of the vehicle. I slipped into the driver's seat myself and drove out of the parking lot, heading home. I barely touched alcohol, I was convinced that nothing would happen. There was no other option either, Alcazio disappeared when I went upstairs, and I didn't want to ask for a bodyguard, not when Pete is sleeping so cutely. For a while we drove in silence until I heard a little movement from behind and then a yawn.

- Where am I? - Pete said with difficulty, lifting his eyelids. - Did you kidnap me?

I wanted to laugh when he was looking at me with his slightly bent and pouty mouth. Big, doe eyes, focused on mine, innocently looked at me and I had the impression that Pete did not recognize me. Somehow, when he's drunk, it always happens.
