Third Person POV:

Wednesday

The following day Sam woke up feeling excited thinking about the wonderful date he'll have with Colby only for his excitement to be ruined by an all-day thunderstorm. After school, Sam and Colby decided to have a movie date with pizza and popcorn. Sam also checked tomorrow's weather as well.

That night as soon as Colby fell asleep, Sam then planned out his date with Colby. He decided to take him on a picnic at the beach. He then decided to confess his feelings toward Colby as well as seal it off with a kiss.

Sam's POV:

I excitedly rushed my way home with Colby by my side. As soon as we got home my phone began to ring. I look to see my mom calling so I answered.

(S): Sam (M): Mom

S: Hey mom what's up?

M: Oh nothing dear, just wanted to ask if you can kindly do me the favor of watching your sister when she gets home since you're father and I won't be home until 7:30?

S: Sure mom don't worry

M: Oh thanks sweetie see you later

S: See you later

(A/N Sam's school is 5 mins away from his house so since they come out at 3:05 they get home at 3:10 pm. While Addy's is 20 mins away and she comes out at 3:15 pm so she gets home at 3:35 pm sometimes when she takes the bus home when her parents can't pick her up)

"What did your mom want?" Colby asked me after I hung up. I then turn to him, "Oh she just wants me to watch Addy until they get home," I replied to him. Twenty minutes later, I then heard a honk come from outside so I checked out the window to see Addy's bus had just arrived.

I then went out to get her and thanked the bus driver for bringing her. Once we got inside and closed the door, I turn to Colby and Addy, "Ok guys, let's all hurry up and do our homework cause I have a surprise for you both later on!" I exclaimed.

Soon enough, Colby, Addy, and I dashed upstairs to start on our homework. About twenty minutes later we were finally done. Addy and Colby soon went to get ready while I went to the kitchen and prepared three sandwiches, two sodas and a juice box, and a bag of chips. I quickly packed everything in a picnic basket along with a blanket.

Ten minutes later, I then rushed up to my room and put on my trunks. I made my way downstairs, grabbed the basket, and made my way toward the door just as Addy and Colby were standing there waiting for me.

We then walked down the beach for about ten minutes, until I found the perfect spot. I then told Colby and Addy to close their eyes. Once they did, it took me about five minutes to set up everything. "Ok, you guys can open your eyes now!" I told them with excitement in my voice. As soon as they opened their eyes, Addy immediately squealed with happiness. I then looked at Colby whose face was red as a tomato.

"S-Sam, I don't know what to say," he said in awe. "Well, I did say I wanted to make it up to you," I said with a chuckle. "So, do you like it?" I asked him. "I love it thank you," he said with a blush and a smile.

After about thirty to forty minutes of us eating and drinking our food and drinks, we decided to wait an hour for our food to digest so we ended up playing tag and swimming around the beach. I believe we wasted about an hour and thirty minutes or so. Once we were back at our picnic, Addy asked if she can go look for seashells near the beach. I told her yes as long as she stayed where we could see her.

As soon as she left, I turned to Colby and held his right hand. "Colby, not only did I enjoy spending time hanging out with you and getting to know you more this past month, but I also managed to realize my feelings toward you," I said while looking at him nervously.

"What I want to say is, I love you, Cole Robert Brock. I love you more than anything in the whole wide world."
