Meredith's POV-
Trigger warning!!

"Ummm, mer, I don't think you should go home." she said nervous. "Why?" i asked. "just trust me babe don't" she said. "okay your sorta freaking me out. can i have some context?" i asked. "If you want. yeah" she said. "Do i have to worry?" I asked. "Remember he won't touch you as long as i'm here" she said sweetly. "What- did he text something's threatening?" I asked and she nodded 'yes'. "oh" I said. "Do you want to read it?" "i guess"

D: Meredith fucking Grey. You told her didn't you? very slutty of you to be honest. You were the one who wanted it. You deserved it. When I find you, you won't know what's coming your way.

*Back to Reality*

"Are you okay babe?" she asked. "I-i don't know. I feel- did I deserve it?" I asked. tears started to well in both our eyes. "No not at all. he's in the wrong. you never deserved anything he did to you. You're strong mer. It's okay i've got you." she said. she pulled me into a tight hug.

"I love you" I whispered into her chest. "I do too" she sighed. "I wish it could just be us you know. just me and you, happy." i admitted. I really did love her, and wanted her to be mine. she kissed the top of my head. "I want that too baby, i really do." she said.

"Do you want to stay here with me until further notice?" she asked smiling, i looked up at her. Her ocean blue eyes met my green. "I would love to, thank you zona." I replied. "Anytime love" she smiled and so did I, it was a real smile too. No not a fake one because usually i'd stop smiling about now, but I can't. She makes me happy. and that's what matters. right?

"Okay well dinner will be done soon so why don't you go sit?" she said. "But i want to be close to you, i like being close to you. it makes me happy." I replied. she smiled. "Do you want skin-to-skin? I'll carry you." she said. I smiled and nodded my head 'yes'. "Tops?" she asked. "yes?" i said nervously.

"Don't be nervous baby i'm here for you" "okay" i whispered. she took her top off and helped me take mine off as well. It left me in a tank top and her in a bra. I did grabby hands. "Okay baby Ill pick you up, be patient." she said. I smiled was she picked me up. I attached my body to hers. my head rested on her shoulder and she was rubbing my back whilst cooking. I ended up falling asleep in her arms.

When it was time to eat she sat on the stool and started to rub my back and rock me to wake up.

"Hey babes can you wake up?" she asked. "five more minutes?" i asked. "Baby come on, please? for me?" she asked. and i woke up and looked her in the eyes. "Hmm?" i hummed as a response to her. "Can you try to eat? I'll eat with you." she said, smiling. "zona i'm not that hungry. You eat, i'll eat later." i responded and put my head back on her shoulder.

"No i'm not going to eat if your not" she said pushing the plate away. "what- no eat." i said looking her in the eye. "I could say the same to you." "come on your hungry just eat, i'll eat later." i tried to reason.

"Nope i'm not hungry. I'll eat when you do." she responded. After intense eye-contact with her, I folded. I started to eat with her. I was still on her lap but facing the counter, eating with her. I got done around 1/4 of the plate before I tapped out. Unable to finish the rest.

"Okay. I can't eat anymore. i'm sorry." I responded leaning into her embrace. "Don't be sorry babe. You did so good! I'm proud of you." she said putting her arms around me. "You did good" she whispered in my ear. "I feel so fat" I said. "Mer. You. Are. NOT. fat. beautiful? yes. fat? never." she responded kissing my cheek.

"Thank you zona" I said turning around. "Anytime babes" she responded. she put the dishes in the sink, still carrying me in her arms. I felt so safe in her arms. She walked back into the living room and onto the couch we were. "What do you want to watch my love?" She asked. I looked her in the eyes. "Anything you want bae." I replied and she smiled.

"If you say so." she responded and put 'New Girl' back on. Soon enough I fell back asleep in her arms.

~Time Passes~

I felt someone walking around with me still in their arms. I opened my eyes. Arizona was walking upstairs with me in her arms. It was dark out so I guess it's time for bed. We were in her room and I'm pretty sure she still thinks i'm asleep because she put me in bed. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. To take a shower I assume. I didn't move instead I sat still.

Until I heard footsteps from downstairs.
