It was supposed to be a normal day.

Key word being supposed.

Being entirely honest, when he signed the poster add, he had expected volunteer workers knocking at the apartment door, asking for him.

Volunteer workers who would believe him without question when he told them that no one named 'Tommy' lived there.

That's what normally happened when he signed random waivers for discounts at stores.

What didn't usually was a whole entire hero chilling at the door, waiting for him.

Waking up to Tubbo shaking him and questioning him about the superhero that was outside the door and asking for "Tommy the Owl Avian", was not fun.

And so, like a fool, and probably due to the fact he was sleep deprived, he answered it.

Now, a word of advice; answering a well loved superhero whist tired and annoyed, because why the fuck is someone bothering me at four in the morning, is not a good idea.

Seriously. It is a very bad idea.

Which Tommy realised just after he opened the door.

Because holy shit, Tubbo wasn't joking.

Leaning on his doorframe, scrolling through twitter, was none other than the goggled and mossy hero, Agaric.

And any hope that the hero might have the wrong house, promptly vanished when Agaric looked him dead in the eyes and said,

"Oh, hey kid. You're Tommy, right?"

Tommy laughed nervously.

"What? No! of course I'm not. Who is Tommy? What even is a Tommy? I definitely wouldn't know." He rambled.

Agaric stared at him.

"Well, are there any other 6'5, blond, blue eyed, owl avians in there?"

"No. And now you can leave with the comforting knowledge that no one named Tommy lives here or has ever lived here. Good day now."

"Alright, I'm pretty sure you are Tommy."

"GOOD DAY NOW."

The moss covered hero sighed slightly, before grabbing his wrist and pulling him out of the apartment.

"Come on kid, follow me."

"WHAT? YOU CAN'T JUST KIDNAP ME LIKE THIS!"

"Yeah," Tubbo butted in, "You can't take him. legally, at least. It's a crime."

"Actually it's not. It will be illegal if he doesn't come with me though. He signed our contract. And we're not going to hurt him, or kidnap him. You'll see him again at the end of the day." Agaric explained.

Tubbo narrowed his eyes.

"Well, what are you going to do with him then?"

"We are going to be training him."

"How, exactly?"

"The training program that Tommy will be doing, is mainly designed to teach you how to use your power and or any hybrid attributes, in a safe and controlled environment. Tommy will also be learning the layout of the city, how to fight and detain someone safely, and a ton more things that are necessary to becoming a hero," He rattled off, without much expression.

"Tommy will be receiving two free meals per day, and free of cost access to training equipment, uniforms, technology and one on one training with his assigned mentor."
