Taking an inspirational trip through hell

With those very inspirational and uplifting words, Dream walked out into the corridor, leaving Tommy and the others to follow him.

Whilst everyone was standing there, shocked, he took the opportunity to glance at the other teens.

There was the girl with the beanie who he walked in with earlier, someone in a purple hoodie who's face he couldn't see, and a boy with a huge red vine coiling around his arm and some small red horns on the top of his head.

The vine boy was the first to move, walking towards where Dream left from, with the purple hoodie person and beanie girl following behind, leaving Tommy to follow last.

The first thing he noticed was how cramped the hallway was.

Tommy had to fold his wings almost entirely into his back so he didn't whack the tips on the drywall, making it much more difficult to keep up with Dream's fast pace.

There were sharp turns every few metres and the hallway seemed to get smaller and thinner the longer he stayed in it.

He was pretty sure that they were in a different part of the building, as the content of the weird rooms began to change.

Instead of rooms with maps and computers, they began to become more concentrated on one specific theme.

One room seemed entirely centred around water, with a pool in the ground and some water filled tubes going out of the pool, up the walls and over the celling before going back into the pool.

Another room, which was seemingly centred around plants, had ivy climbing the walls and two platforms jutting out, one on each side of the room.

But before Tommy could look at the next room, Dream stopped short, having apparently reached his destination.

He took a key from around his neck, unlocked the door and gestured for them to go inside.

"All of you. In"

Well that definitely not fucking ominous.

Dream waited as they all filed in.

"I will be back soon with your possible mentors. It would be wise to take this time to get to know each other," He announced, already halfway out of the room.

A click sounded the moment after the door shut behind him, leaving the four standing in awkward silence.

"So, is the door actually locked, or is this one of those weird test things," Vine Boy asked.

Hoodie kid hummed, turning towards the door.

"I'm pretty sure it's locked, but I can try it if that makes you feel better."

"It would sure as fuck make me feel better!" Tommy added in.

"Just to make it unanimous, it would also make me feel better if we tried the door," the girl smiled.

The boy in the hoodie nodded importantly, tried the handle, turned back around to face the group, and abruptly sat down.

"Yep, the door's locked."

Sighs and groans filled the room as the other three teens sat down, accepting their fate.

"Since we are stuck in here. For now, at least." The girl in the beanie looked around at them . "Should we do introductions?"

"Sure," Vine boy shrugged. "No harm in it, I guess."
