Another day training with Dream, another night taking care of Micheal.

It was shocking how easily he had fallen into this new routine.

Wake up before dawn, go train with the hero's and eat lunch with Aimsey, Eryn and Purpled, all of whom were really fucking cool.

Then train some more, go home, patch himself up while cooking for Micheal, play with the piglet before taking him and going to bed.

No Tubbo, no Ranboo.

Just him taking care of someone else's kid.

He wasn't upset or anything. Why would he be? All they had done was bring a child home without telling him, made him take complete care of said child, and completely ignore him.

He wasn't angry, or confused or upset. He didn't miss Tubbo and his rambling about whatever project he was working on, or Ranboo and them listening to him while making dinner and their little suggestions or jokes.

He was fine. Everything was fine.

It wasn't like it was supposed to be them against the world or anything.

Tommy sighed, leaning back against the padded wall of the training room as he watched Rosethorn demonstrate the move they we're supposed to be learning.

Rosethorn probably had tons of friends who wanted to be with her, and loved her, and they would never even think of forgetting about her and not talk to her for two whole fucking weeks because they were to busy doing other stuff that didn't include her.

Lucky bitch.

A tap on his shoulder had him whipping around.

"Hey Tommy!" Aimsey grinned down him. "Me and Purpled are gonna go get food after training. Do you want to come with us?"

"I'd really love to but I have to babysit this kid." A shame about that too. He could really use some shitty take out food.

"Oh." she blinked. "Well, the kid can come to so long as they behave!"

"Really?"

"Sure, why not?" he said. "I love kids! Plus, we want you to be there!"

They wanted him to be with them, they said.

The thing with claws scoffed at that.

lying lying liar lying

It told him, shifting around in its little nest that it had made in his head.

if your family family don't want you don't want you don't want you,  why why should they should they?

"I don't want to bother you," Tommy said, shaking his head at xem, "I'll just come along some other time. If you want me to, I mean."

"Dude, it's okay. Seriously." Purpled butted in. "Bringing the kid won't instantly cause everyone in the general vicinity to keel over and die. And hey, even if they do, we don't mind. Prime knows I could use some good fuckin' entertainment 'round here."

The thing with claws was silent at that.

"Where are we going, exactly?"

Both Purpled and Aimsey's faces split into identical grins.

"There's this place near the border of Essempi and Hermitville. Red van with a huge sign reading 'Ren's Dogs'. It's like ten minutes west of here." he responded, pulling a loose thread out of his hoodie.
