After Fiona got over her dazed state and seemed to get her head on straight, she returned to the castle. When she came into the common room, Sirius and the boys were nowhere to be seen but once she reached her dormitory her best friends threw question after question at her.
Fiona told them all the true details up until that intense moment she had with Sirius in the alley. She wasn't ready to disclose that to anyone just yet. After dinner and finishing her homework, Fiona got into bed.
It was well past midnight now and all the girls were fast asleep in the sixth year Gryffindor girls dormitory.
All except one.
Fiona tossed and turned but she couldn't fall asleep. The memories of the alleyway kept flooding her mind, the words spoken by Sirius Black echoing through her head. She wanted to rip her hair out as the memory wouldn't stop flashing before her eyes, it was like a nightmare.
With a final toss, Fiona shrugged off her cover irritably and sat up. Fiona ran a hand through her hair before gripping her head and groaning. Fiona couldn't understand why a change had occurred within her after the date with Sirius but she wanted it to stop. She knew she wasn't supposed to get attached to him, that was the whole point of her agreeing to the deal and for Sirius asking her in the first place. She couldn't understand what was happening, why it was happening.
With a frustrated sigh, Fiona got up and slipped on footwear, went out the door and down into the common room with a book. The common room was luckily empty and Fiona took a seat by the blazing fireplace, opening up her book after getting comfortable.
